Beet zoo in London, we spent the whole day there. Bring a picnic as the food isn't great

A really great day out for all the family but will definately go back with the kids, so much for them to do here. We loved the idea of having an upper level to view all the big cats, get a really good view.

Fantastic place to go with children, for its different spaces, large areas, the many exhibited animals and other animals. The dinosaur space and other places to have fun are very educational.

Love the new Dinosaur section. Some of the enclosures seem a bit small.

An excellent day out with friends and the kids. Loads to see and do and really engaged/enthusiastic staff, which was a plus.

My only criticism, and this is true of many zoos, is the big cat enclosures. I appreciate the trade off between cost, visitors being able to see the animals up close and giving the animals the space they need, but as always I felt they just didn't have enough. That said, they did have more room than at many other places I've been too, and although the cheetah lacked muscle tone and was pacing around the enclosure it was otherwise very well looked after.

On balance though I'd definitely recommend for a day out with the kids, and will almost certainly be back.
