My family and I love Paradise Wildlife Park. It is great all year round. My children are 1 and 4 and LOVE the animals, as do we. It's so amazing seeing the lions and tigers up so close along with all the others - but those are my personal favourites.

The outdoor play area is a huge hit as is the indoor soft play area. Can easily spend a whole day here and still want to come back for more.

we last visited just before Christmas and the Father Christmas was fantastic. Really spent time talking to the children and helped to make it all magical.

I spent the day at the Paradise Wildlife Park with a Groupon voucher. I was NOT disappointed. Despite the ordeal it took (National Rail, emergency diversions, etc) to get to Broxbourne, my whole experience at the PWP was absolutely fantastic. The Park's shuttle bus picked me up from the train station and fifteen minutes later I was petting a zebra. Once you get past the plethora of kiddie rides and mini golf (which make for a nice day out for kids), the wildlife park was amazing. I spent the day in the Tiger Treetops (an aerial view over the big cats enclosures) and one plexiglass-ed wall away from a white tiger. The enclosures are beautiful and get you as close as you can possibly be to the animals. They have so many different species and a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Take advantage of the Birds of Paradise show or watch one of the animal feedings. And if there are slightly too many small children running around, do the Woodland Walk, it's a beautiful, completely peaceful place and you get to see dinosaurs (not real ones, though that'd be cool). I highly recommend this truly wonderful place.

Paradise Wildlife park is absolutely brilliant for the whole family. It gives people a chance to see animals and insects they probably never would be able to see otherwise, our favourite animal is the Meerkat's, you are able to get up close and really see what they are about. The learning aspect by the park is brilliant, they keep the children fully entertained and enthralled.
The food and drink side of things are good value for money too and the service is spot on. keep the good work going.

This is my favourite wildlife park. It is of course a bonus it's fairly local, but also it has an immense variety of animals of all kinds, from birds to insects, covering small and big carnivores and lots of primates. Some are quite unusual such as white lions and tigers, black lemurs, corsac fox, gibbons, reptiles, and even a petting zoo with the cutest pigmy goats you've ever seen. The enclosures are of course great for the animals but also for the public as it allows plenty of viewing and photo opportunities. For the kids there's also a large playground, a swimming pool during summer and lots of educational activities throughout the year. The keepers (and all other staff really) are just incredible, always ready to help and answer any question about the animals. I've lost count of the times I've visited but I'm always looking forward for my next visit!

My family recently went to Paradise Wildlife Park on a grey ,gloomy, Sunday. We didn't have much money as it was post Christmas so we were armed with a picnic.
Our first call was to feed the rabbits which the kids thought was great (note - you can only feed certain animals and only with the food that you can buy at the entrance and at stations around the park that are open during busier times). We then bumped into a keeper near the new baby wolves (these were 6 months old and huge!). We got chatting to him and found his knowledge exceptional. He also advised when another keeper would be talking about the main wolves.
Another keeper, again very knowledgable, then came to clean out the lions bedding. We we given a fascinating insight into the lions and the extraordinary lengths that the keepers go to in looking after the magnificent creatures that are kept at the park.
This set the tone for our day. We attended the keeper talk about the wolves and it was very informative - it wasn't only the kids who learnt new things. As the saying goes - these guys know their onions!
The rest of the day was equally enjoyable. Tigers and the white lions were other favourites of ours. We also attended the treetop cafe for a coffee before finding a nicely sheltered table to eat our picnic. Our final stop was to the gift shop on the way out where the kids could get reasonably pricd souvenirs.
Paradise Wildlife Park has so much to offer, even in the winter, and is a great day out for the family. We have been visiting the park since we have lived in Hertfordshire (about 7 years) and have never been disappointed. We wil definitely visit again soon.

I had a lovely time at PWP. It was a really nice day out with a large variety of animals to look at. It has good accessibility for disabled people and also has signs showing the sign language for the animals! It was very informative! There are also lots of interactive bits for children to play with! I pretended to be a meerkat and it was lots of fun! Strongly recommended!

As a photographer I have visited many different zoos and wildlife parks in the UK, and Paradise Wildlife Park is easily one of my favourites to visit! They have so many different animals and all of them have lovely enclosures with good viewing areas for the public. I've got many of my favourite photographs from Paradise, a lovely place to visit!

I've been to quite a few zoo's as I have a friend who is a budding wildlife photographer! Paradise was a great day out, lots of animals to see and encounter, enclosures look great with good views of the animals, walkways etc, but also privacy for them. Lots of staff and zoo keepers around, who all seem very knowledgeable and passionate about the animals. Good to see the feedings and hear about the animals and see them interact with the keepers. Great day out and looking forward to coming back this year!

I visited Paradise Wildlife Park in 2012 and found it to be a fantastic day out. There are so many different animals to see. I specifically wanted to visit due to the large collection of big cats, including white lions and snow leopards which I had never seen before. It was amazing to be able to see these animals up close. The enclosures are lovely and all of the animals seem really happy. I enjoy wildlife photography as a hobby and have been able to take some good photos of the beautiful animals at the park. The design of the enclosures are really good for photographers as there are viewpoints through glass or high walkways. There are plenty of feeding times and talks throughout the day which were very interesting and it was great to learn more about the animals. I was very impressed by the keepers, they were very knowledgeable and seem passionate about caring for the animals. I cannot wait to visit again, it has become one of my favourite zoos.
