Lovely relaxing break in the country :-)
Fab breakfast and lovely dinner, including a very nice Rhubarb crumble more than big enough for two :-) Ashley is a charming and quiet little village.
When I booked on booking.com it asked if I would prefer a first floor room - I ticked yes as I wanted the room upstairs that I had stayed in before! However I found out it actually meant - would you prefer a ground floor room! Just a little confusing!

James did an excellent job clearing out the gutters on my house and fixing a couple of areas that needed attention. He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and offers good advice. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Great country pub
Pub was in a nice quiet location and had a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. Interior was characterful with a small bar area and restaurant and there were plenty of tables outside to sit and have a drink on a sunny day. The room was clean and comfortable and both breakfast and dinner were really good. We were made to feel very welcome and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely dog friendly country pub. Lovely atmosphere, great service. Food was absolutely amazing, all freshly made. Would highly recommend here for delicious, fresh, homemade food!
