Downley Community Centre is home to numerous clubs, associations and the local community library and is situated in the very centre of the village on the old Middle School site between School Close and Chapel Street. The building comprises two large rooms both fitted with modern kitchen units, has ample parking with access from School Close. The Centre has free WiFi, a fitted projector screen and can host functions for up to 120 people with full wheelchair access provided. The Centre is run by a group of committed volunteers who meet regularly to manage and maintain the facility on behalf of all local residents. Read more

Hazlemere Community Centre was officially opened by Sir John Hall, O.B.E. on 16th October 1976. The community centre has a licensed bar for HCA members and guests, open Monday to Saturday evenings and Sunday lunchtime, children are welcome if they are accompanied by a responsible adult. Halls are available for hire for wedding receptions, parties, jumble sales, meetings etc., and during the week for activities such as those listed on the HCA Groups page. Read more

otteridge & District Community Centre is a registered Charity in England & Wales No. 1123743. The community centre was created following on from the closure of the old social club of the same name which had previously operated at the site. The community centre was formally a social centre. Land was purchased from Walter Ernest Maunder, a property developer who built all the bungelows in the "drives" area of Totteridge, in 1950. Over its history, the social centre has been a place for the residents of Totteridge and District to socialise in a variety of ways. The club has had a drama group operating in the centre, as well as being used as a polling station and where inoculation's were given to children in the 80s. Read more
Cressex Community Centre & Social Club

The club opened its doors to the public in January 1968 but was officially opened in 1969. The club is run by a Committee who are elected by the club members to oversee the rules, regulations and running of the club. The club provides live entertainment for its members every Saturday night as well as a family Disco, normally twice a month, and bingo on Monday, Saturday (2 games) and Sunday. The Club is situated along Cressex Road just in front of the Cressex Community School. The club has a car park located to the rear of the building that has enough space to accommodate 30 vehicles. There is a large garden at the front of the club which has outdoor seating. We have two snooker and two pool tables, two dart boards and three televisions for coverage of most major sporting events showing everything Sky Sports and BT Sports has to offer. Read more

A diagnosis of a blood cancer can have a huge impact on someone emotionally, as well as physically. We understand that feelings of shock, anger and loneliness are all common at the time of diagnosis, during treatment and recovery and having someone to talk to, as well as the right information available can be a huge comfort. We not only support patients, but carers and families too who can often carry a lot of the emotional strain when someone they love is diagnosed with a blood cancer. The Oasis Partnership is a charity providing specialist drug and alcohol support services across Buckinghamshire since 1984. We offer a wide range of recovery focused support options, aiming to help individuals to address their drug or alcohol problems and get their lives back on track. Our core treatment service is called STaRS, which stands for Structured Treatment and Recovery Service. STaRS is provided in partnership with Inclusion SSS NHS FT. We provide an integrated service offering clinical, pharmacological and psychosocial interventions to people over the age 18. Alongside STaRS we provide the Oasis Republic Recovery Network, ensuring service users have access to the full range of support they may need during their recovery journey.
