Although this is a small beach, it is nevertheless an extremely popular resort with all of the facilities that people need. It is a wide flat and sandy beach with a low tide but still plenty of space at high tide. The harbour is pretty and there are stunning views from the top of the hill. Saundersfoot is a seaside award (resort) winner and has a blue flag. A lifeguard service is available at the beach from the end of June until the end of September. Dogs are restricted on the beach, with the exception of the eastern end of the beach from May and September. Located approximately 3 miles from Saundersfoot is the seaside town Tenby. Read more
Broad Haven Beach

This pebble beach is described as being extensive, narrow and sandy. There is usually a high tide at the beach but at low tide a huge expanse of firm sand is revealed, with more than enough room for everyone. The cliffs on both ends of the beach provide some sheltered bays. There is a blue flag on the beach. Broad Haven beach is the winner of a seaside award. Between May and September, although Lifeguards are on patrol at the beach, dogs are restricted on the beach between May and September. The closest town to Broad Haven beach is Haverfordwest. With its golden sand beach and clear crystal water, Barafundle bay is widely known as one of the best beaches in the United Kingdom, some have even compared it to the Caribbean beach. Barafundle Bay is owned by the National Trust and is part of the South Pembrokeshire Heritage Coast and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The beach is the winner of both the Seaside Award (Rural) and the Green Coast Award. There is no lifeguard service on the beach. Dogs are allowed on the beach. Amroth

A beach that is half a mile long, flat and sandy. There is a massive expense of sand when the tide is low, making it suitable for numerous beach games. Rockpools can be identified at the western end of the beach. Also at the top of the beach are groynes. There is a lifeguard at the beach between the start of July until the end of September. In 2013 the beach was awarded a seaside award (resort) and a blue flag. The nearest town to Amroth is Tenby. Read more
