At Golden-Oldies we believe that singing is the best way to put a smile on your face. We run monthly singing sessions where we sing songs from the 50s 60s and 70s. You don’t need to have a good voice, just so long as you enjoy music, then Goldies is for you. We ask for a £3 donation towards running costs, but we don’t turn anybody away. Why not come along to your next session and see if it’s for you.

Youth Club sessions are delivered by Active Learning & Skills (cic): Youth Zone for young people aged 11 – 17 (year 7’s and over) Monday’s & Thursday’s 7.00pm – 9.00pm. Fun Time for children aged 6-11 (or school years 2–6) & voluntary helpers aged 11+ Friday’s 6.30pm – 8.30pm. The Chard Area Youth Committee is the charity responsible for commissioning youth work provision & managing the building / finances. Rooms are available to hire.

Chard WI meet at the Baptist Church Hall in Holyrood Street, Chard on the second Tuesday of each month (excluding July) at 7pm. A friendly welcome for all visitors/new members of all ages awaits.
