Visited a few years ago and did enjoy the day. Loved the big cats.
Wanted to return recently but just cannot afford or justify the price. £60 off peak for myself and 2 young children. Went to Colchester zoo instead and it was £32 cheaper. I think charging that much for a 2 year old is hard on us.

Great Zoo for the smaller child, you can see the animals so close and my boy loved the world of dinosaurs so much.
The food is also reasonably priced and great park and soft play facilities.
Great day out for small children and no need for a pram as there’s little amount of walking between animals.

We booked a mini zoo keeper experience. This was an utterly brilliant 90 mins. Simon our keeper was so upbeat, friendly and knowledgeable. Our 10 year old daughter loved getting up close to the animals. Lots to see and do and everything was close together. Perfect for the younger ones to run around and explore.
