We’re lucky to have Duncan Murray Wines close by. Saturday tastings and general recommendations are always great. They’re also accredited WSET level 1 and 2 course providers. I’ve just completed level 2 and it was the most enjoyable course i’ve ever done. I’m missing tasting so many wines now the course is over! Nick, our teacher, was great fun and guided us through how to use the systematic approach to tasting wines and all the learning about winemaking, styles, grapes etc. Thoroughly recommended to anyone who enjoys wine and is interested to learn more. Huge thanks, Nick!

Went with friends on a Saturday evening. It was fairly busy and had a great atmosphere.
The food was amazing and the service was fantastic.
It’s licensed and so Cobra was flowing!
Highly recommend and will return.

Host didn't have our telephone booking.
Place was empty at the time and he reluctantly allowed us to stay. Only 4 adults and 1 child.
Very po-faced and couldn't even greet us with a smile.
Shame as it prevented a sizeable tip as the food was very good.
Draught beer too warm though.
Also ordered 4 desserts. One came ten minutes earlier than the rest.
We will try again and hopefully get a better reception 🙂

Glyn and his team, worked long hours, he was always polite even under pressure. His workmanship and attention to detail was excellent.
I would highly recommend Glyn, he's honest and trustworthy.
The new drive looks great, the patio, battons across an old wall and sleepers look great. He has transformed an old, tired looking garden and given it a contemporary look.
Overall a great tradesman and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Service was a bit disappointing, not sure if large groups were too much to handle by waitresses and managers just observing restaurants and numbers walking through the door. The food was okay and I won't be ordering a shared platter as an option as the photo is not what we got.
Complimentary items were not even provided we had to ask for it and hot drinks! It's more ideal for couples or groups of 4 to be managed at this restaurant. They do not provide tap water however you can open bottled water and get charged!
