Stayed here for a night, found all the staff to be really friendly and welcoming, service fantastic, restaurant food really tasty and reasonable with a varied menu, some areas of the hotel are a little dated but everything is functional and comfortable. Special mention for Irene on the bar and Bruna on reception who were attentive and very helpful.

Excellent for a break. The village is situated in Bolton. The rooms are spacious, bright, clean and comes with extensive breafast and dining options.

Fantastic all round experience from fish pond experts! We inherited a fish pond and wanted to rehome the fish when the house sold…was quickly running out of time when I spotted a Pond’s Northwest van in my area. Googled them and reached out with my predicament. They happily agreed to help with my ‘part built’, ‘all the gear but no idea’, diy solution. The day came and the two guys who arrived were amazing! The pond was lined and filled within a couple of hours, the fish caught and rehomed later in the day, they were full of advice, very friendly and patient. Will 100% use them again and am already investigating their maintenance packages. I mean if I’m going to become a fish keeper then I need all the help I can get to do it properly and Ponds Northwest are now my go to experts. Thankyou team :) (pic is before the water had settled) wish I’d found them sooner!
