The staff were very helpful and accommodating..we had a few issues, firstly the elevator wasn't working and my disabled fiance struggled trying to find our room which we had to swap as it was too far from the service elevator. The service elevator was handy to use but the items were in the hallway. There were no sockets near the bed for a sleep apnea machine however the staff provided an exstention lead which helped massively! Other than the elevator being out of order and the service elevator access being extremely tight it was an ok stay...I do recommend anyone in a wheelchair ask ahead to see if the elevator is up and running.

Nice hotel, stayed her for a wedding, room was spacious, bed was comfy, although my sister said the pillows were hard so maybe they have a different firmness. The grout in the bathroom had mould in it and the shower pressure wasn't great, I also didnt understand how everything we went up to buy drinks through the night it got £1 more expensive each time?? The wedding food was lovely that was catered by the hotel, we didn't swim or use the leisure facilities but looking through the first floor down to the pool it looked really nice. I don't think I would stay here again as I wouldn't pay £180 odd a night so a room like that.

Rooms were ok - mine was dusty and not the cleanest. Nothing major - just no attention to detail.
Service was fine - bar staff were lovely. Dinner service seemed a little chaotic at times though.
The location is the main problem. This is a hotel and private member gym. There is somewhat constant comings and goings on the main carpark which my room faced onto. The noise from groups hanging around outside, cars racing and novelty car horns went late into the night. Dodgy looking exchanges between vehicles and individuals.
And then to top it off, our van was stolen from the car park during our stay. Only discovered on the day we were leaving (there for a work conference). Staff seemed less than concerned and just told us to report it to the police.
Wouldn't go there again personally. I can't mark it down on everything as it was technically an OK stay. Depsite the loss of the van which I accept the hotel can't be held totally responsible. The carpark is ANPR and CCTV monitored but there will always be theives who don't care. I'd like to see some form of control of the car park though from security staff.

Attended my friends wedding. Meal and canopes lovely. When we arrived, room still being hovered and the staff knocked over the champagne and didn't clear it up and no glasses laid out for orange juice. After the speeches the service went drastically downhill - had to request for tables to be cleared, they cleared them ONCE! Had our own bar but the staff were sitting, hiding on the floor and couldn't be seen so we had to ask at reception on more than one occasion to be served. Hotel guests were walking thru the function- no napkins for buffet.
None of this stopped us enjoying the wedding and the dj was fab.

We stayed here to visit some friends in Bury. Great location and excellent staff.
The room was very clean but in need of refurbishment. The quality of the breakfast was poor in my opinion. There was very little choice and no fresh fruit on offer.

Well this hotel has turned into a money making machine compared to when i stayed here before, you now have to pay for everything unless you up grade your room which i did paying an extra £10 but the extra was not worth it, luckily we stayed saturday night had we stayed midweek and not upgraded we would have had to pay parking fees at £5 a day, we got lost trying to find our room and was told everyone gets lost we had to go in the lift go down a corridor get into another lift then down some stairs, dinner was a simple request my wife had fish gujon wrap, what she got was fish finger wraps that were grey in colour and not fit for consumption, breakfast was not worth the bother ,undercooked scrambled egg was the only option along with hard bacon and hard sausage, but there was a continental option also, all in all not worth the £120 we paid.

The rooms are all different. One room will have 8 plug sockets and usb sockets and another room will have only one single plug socket. I found the rooms quite cold and the slamming doors all night don't give the best nights sleep. The menu in the restaurant is limited. I was staying awake at a time and the rooms were not serviced during the stay so the tea and coffee you get on day one is all you get. If you request fresh towels you are left with a bag of towels on your door handle. The beds are comfortable and the bedding clean. Bathrooms are nice but the ones with walk in showers are the better ones.

Hotel was really good but the bar staff were incredible, Aliyah, Sophia and Sophie at the bar area were superb and so welcoming, they really made the stay so warm and welcoming! I would highly recommend staying here just on the fact how well your treated by the bar staff!
