We are so impressed with Horizon. We are renovating a barn and Horizon were recommended to us. To say we are delighted is an understatement! Mark, Jordan and Tom were punctual, professional and extremely hard working. Their attention to detail is a credit to them as they knew what we were trying to achieve and came up with suggestions to ensure we received it. The result is even better than we expected as a result of their advice. This was a very hard job, being outside on a very steep slope in very cold and icey conditions with less than ideal materials. But that didn't phase them at all. Always a smile, never a complaint and always a friendly word. We have no hesitation in highly recommending them for any type of building work. They are now our go to if we need any building work. Thank you so much guys for a fabulous job!

The car company Bury have been outstanding in there service, a can do attitude from the start , never had such a straightforward transaction in buying a car I’m 55 and change my car annually so I have brought a few over the years. Ash the salesman was a complete gent professional and polite and not full of bluff you usually find wit car salesmen. Most importantly the car was pristine and exactly as car was described. We had a lovely 3 night stay in room 5. The pub is cosy and feels like a true Lake District stop. The rooms are basic, with a shower or a bath, but clean, comfy and perfect for a few nights. Jess was super friendly every morning welcoming us with a hearty Cumbrian breakfast. The view from the breakfast room is beautiful overlooking fields and woods. The pub itself is worth stopping at for food too. Proper pub classics for a fair price. The stacker burger is huge! Loved sitting next to the log burner at night with a pint or two too. Would definitely stay again. Thank you everyone for such a wonderful stay.
