Interesting spot. We only went to eat at one of the restaurants so can't speak for the place as a whole.
I'm also not much of an 'all you can eat' location person but visiting friends this is where we went and we had a very good Sunday roast my only complaint is it was uncomfortable hot in the restaurant, I wonder if that's to stop you eating to much! Note that 1 kid eat free with every paying adult. (Check before had though just in case).

Lovely atmosphere, it's beautiful both on the side and outside.
Has a Modern receiption for those staying at the hotel so guests have the option of checking in and checking out using the self service machines.
They is a Starbucks and a the Hotels restaurant as well as a bar not just for the staying guests but for the health club and spa users as well as members of the general public.
Ideal for when you want a break from the city life for a day or the weekend, for a quick bite, business lunch, coffee or dinner.
The health club is ever so lovely and worth it.

Two of us have just had an amazing joint birthday experience with a Spa, with afternoon tea and a murder mystery with 10 of our friends. What made it so special was all the staff were amazing - nothing was too much trouble and with a crowd of women that can be quite demanding. Thanks to all the Spa and hotel staff you are wonderful!!

Cracking hotel in a great location. The rooms are comfy and we had great service from all the staff also you can use the facilities on site so we take our grandson to the big swimming pool which is a 25 meter pool and is really really good. Location is perfect close to the M 62 and Bury town centre and a great location for visiting friends and family we been back a few times and will be back again it’s also great value for money

The conference room was very noisy whilst a zumba class was going on in an adjoining room, but this didn't last too long. Conference facilities are good, food provided is always excellent although takes a long time to serve the numbers involved in a conference. Service overall is good though.

We actually had an issue not with the hotel, but with behaviour of some thoughtless guests. The response of the hotel staff couldn’t have been better! They acted swiftly & without fuss. This is how you judge great service... when something extra is needed & it is delivered.
1st class experience.

My rating has reduced for this chain after a number of changes that have occurred in the last 12 months at Bury.
No quiet public areas to socialize in.
Removal of lounge area.
Pub area converted to paid 'business lounge', with very little usage.
Parking charges now for stays over 4 hours except weekends.
The latter having an adverse affect on the pleasure of the gym members as it restricts the time they can use the facilities without it increasing drastically their costs. Personally it would add over a £100 per month for me to retain my use of the facilities lije I used to, in effect restricting my access time to 4 hrs.
Restaurant converted to two open area with large screen & settees (no sound sub-titles but with loud music blaring so neither able to listen to the programmes nor use the space to relax or chat with friends), mixed tables & chairs for brunch style servings (healthier options at a more costly price), incorporates in, the centre a large square bar area & on the far side a sit down more traditional style restaurant area, however the cacophony of noise persists, some may call it atmosphere, but for me it feels neither one thing now the other. The staff are still pleasant, but the feeling of having different spaces to fit different needs has for me been lost in the changes.
My current thoughts are & my friends agree we don't stay or visit to socially eat & chat anymore. It may appeal to others more, but not me & my ilk. A number have left for membership elsewhere and I'm considering this too. I like the people & the trainers here but if I can't get the service & quality of product I once did, not the enjoyment of the facilities, I may as well go to another closer gym, pay less & get more. I enjoyed the location & outside space in the warmer months but to lose that option to utilise that too due to excessive parking fees will drive me & many other members away.
I hope the managers look at the reviews, listen to the petitions & act & do the right thing by their members, as was done initially, by giving them passes.

Really good, only used the leisure facilities. But had some really good salt and pepper chicken and chips.
