I popped in for lunch after some Christmas shopping with my two year old today.
It’s only small but so lovely inside, lovely ambiance and very welcoming. We luckily could fit onto a small corner table in front of the window.
We had a gingerbread latte, babycino, kids breakfast and eggs benedict with ham.
The food and service was wonderful and we left feeling looked after, well fed and in a lovely Christmassy spirt.
Thank you and well done Amico!

We were seated promptly, asked if we prefer to sit downstairs or upstairs . Staff was lovely . We ordered toasties with a side of chips and the portions were lovely and big.. Very tasty ! Came out with full bellies and a smile.
Lovely staff once again, very friendly atmosphere! Loved our male waiter (poor guy had to go up and down the stairs a few times...must be very fit ! ) This was our second visit and we will definitely be back again.

been here before a few times for breakfast which I can not fault today we went for lunch I had eggs benidict tasted amazing however one of my eggs was very slimy and undercooked so couldn't eat that my daughter had a cheese and ham toasty and chips nothing special about the toasty she said it was quiet bland and her chips were soggy and pale .we did mention this to a waiter who just said they will let them know then started to clear a table the coffee is good and will try again hopefully issues like that can be sorted .

What a little gem, this place has got to be one of the busiest in Bolton town centre, there were more customers than in the whole of M&S. the food was delicious, I had something off the brunch menu, my favourite type of food, French toast with chocolate, raspberry and coconut with mascarpone, my hubby had sunshine eggs. Couldn’t fault it. Think this will be my new go to.

I think the cafe is more popular because of a certain TV series it featured in recently so we went along to grab some lunch. The place is nice inside with star lighting and vases of flowers on the tables. Staff were welcoming and service was quick although the cafe was empty so maybe this is why. Toasted sandwich was OK but chips were undercooked. Think it's pricey compared to other cafes but maybe its because it's become more popular.

Lovely cafe , was visiting my friend for a few.days and when I found out this was the cafe on happy valley I had to come. We had breakfast which was full English and it was lovely. The cafe is really pretty inside we sat upstairs, it was very busy. The girl who worked upstairs was lovely dead canny.

Brunch with my mother-in-law and we both chose Ciabattas from the lunch dishes.
I had the BBQ Pulled Pork Ciabatta and my mother-in-law had the Avocado BLT Ciabatta. Both were absolutely delicious and had plenty of meat in them. The overall portions were very generous and we were both glad we opted out of having chips as a side
Young, enthusiastic staff who couldn't do enough to help us (my mother-in-law uses a wheelchair).Highly recommended.

Although this is a great place for food and good service the whole experience is ruined by one thing, the large group of regulars who sit right outside the front door continuously smoking. Sitting outside on a nice day can be very unpleasant when they are all puffing away nursing a coffee for hours on end. There are usually 5 or 6 of them, all older people, sometimes with a very unfortunate child having to share all their secondary smoke. What is worse though is having to sit inside the cafe with this group smoking constantly right outside the door, every time the door open wafts of stale smoke are blown in, or in warmer weather when the door is kept open a constant stream of stink enters making is very unpleasant for anyone sitting downstairs. The management really needs to ask them to sit further away from the door, or perhaps make the tables outside non smoking as many other places are now doing. A few smoking tables could be provided further away from the front door.

Lovely food and brilliant service! Came here with a friend for the first time and we were both impressed by the delicious food and the kindness of the staff. I ordered the ‘make your own frittata and it was huge! Definitely recommend.

Easily the best cafe in Bolton town centre - the menu selection is great, the portions generous and the staff friendly and helpful.
We had the savoury French Toast and a small full English breakfast - neither of us ate for the rest of the day! We love trying different breakfast places all over the world and this is up there with the best of them - thanks to all the Amico team!
