We found this place by accident whilst driving, the place is centered for children and families plenty for them to do.We have no children and were rather disappointed, the enclosures are clean but small, talks were good.Confusing layout of the centre, you have to go across a road which has a staff member to see you across to view one side of the centre,we didn't eat here, but found a wetherspoons about 10min away, this is not for couples but great for families, not to bad for the entrance fee I suppose, been to better places for less money, staff are very helpful,if you want to see animals and keep your kids entertained then this is the centre for you.

I was bought this by my family as a birthday present and it was an amazing day. on arriving I was given a cup of tea by reception who told me I was a little early for the photographer but could wander around on my own till 9.50ish when he would be there.
James our photographer was patient and full of tips as to how to take the photos.
We then went around the park and were given access to standing areas not normally given to the public.
The staff everywhere wanted our day to be special and couldn't have been more friendly or helpful.
We were then given a fantastic lunch which would have fed three times as many as were there and off again to take photos. My day finished at 6.00pm having taken some amazing photos.
Thank you to all for making my birthday special.

The personal agent were brilliant with communication through every step of my tenancy. They would always email in the first instance and follow up with a phone call a few hours later in case I missed an email. All staff at the office were polite and pleasant, and wanted to help as much as possible even if the person I was after wasn’t around. Bradley was very accommodating when booking in my viewing, and was very excited to rent out the property to me. He stayed late the evening I applied to rent the flat in order to confirm it that same night so I didn’t have to wait till the next day. I will definitely reach out to the personal agent to rent in the future, and recommend to friends and family.

I've been meaning to visit this place for many years, and I finally managed it on Saturday. What a place!! Lined with flint & seashells made into various patterns. Tunnels leading off to round chambers dug underground. Apart from the last chamber, there is no lighting. However, the volunteers will lend you a torch. There is also a summer house with prints on the walls, showing what the area was like when the grotto was built. There are no toilets or cafes. Some of the footpaths are steep. Parking is on the residential streets outside. Open every Saturday & Bank Holidays, April to September. Admission £2.
