Tickets are easily booked by phone and ready for collection at the box office. The structure of the whole venue is interesting as each one of the four levels has its own facility, bar or dias. Amateur dramatists occupy several of these arenas to present ad lib performances before a show starts. Once inside, the theatre has retained a delightful circle, with six clear boxes and stalls below. Viewing from all is good and microphones are used discreetly. The performance was outstanding (The Hired Man) but the seats themselves are very cramped. I am short and found the seating restricting; how a much taller person would find them poses a big question. That said, a full range of refreshments are available before the performance and during the interval. Drinks could be taken into the auditorium. Very friendly and helpful staff, publications for future events all around although these could be more formally presented. Toilets were all clean and good. Access to all levels gained by lift and staircase. Seating for the disabled would be made available near the boxes. Car parking is free after 6pm in Lichfield and poses no problem at that time.

A fantastic show that was full of energy from beginning to end. The theatre is well placed with free parking very close by and more importantly it has comfortable seats. We will be back.

Went along to this show as we're massive fans of the original movie, we've previously enjoyed an amateur production of the Graham Linehan version at Sutton Coldfield too.

Annoyingly, the theatre chose to let the local choir group practice in the upper foyer and block the door to our seats, they still hadn't moved with 5 mins to the curtain so we had to find our way round via the dress circle to our seats in the box.

This cast in this version struggled remembering lines and talked over one another due to missing their cues on several occasions, the director also chose to mimic the staircase with a piece of faux balustrade in the middle of the set - but this became quite an irritating distraction to be honest!

They struggled to get many laughs from the audience and a couple near us left after the second half started, not sure why didn't just leave at the interval. I know its only amdram so I hope I'm not being too harsh...
