Race Association Football Club is a great local club that is up the road from me. I used to be part of the club many years ago, but due to personal reasons, I was no longer able to commit to work along side them. Now that circumstances have changed, I am hoping to be working with the team closely and iron out any injuries :)

As a former player, I enjoy heading up to the grounds on the weekend to enjoy watching from the side-lines with a cup of coffee from the dug-out. It's been a while since I played, but this club has definitely progressed in the last 10 years and further excelled in the last 18 months. I had the opportunity to report and take photographs this club a few months back at a game against eague leaders Sudbrook CCFC and was very impressed by the standard of football from both teams. Great quality of players and the supporters were excellent. Felt very much welcome at the game and I look forward to visiting their home ground soon.

The Race Association Football Club is one of the best in the local area. It really has a good close-knit family atmosphere with plenty of banter going on! As the club has been going for 111years, its one of the longest serving clubs in Pontypool with a large amount of people that support/play throughout the club. From Junior to Senior Football.... This club is one of the greats!!!
