The National Memorial Arboretum, in Staffordshire, led the Nation in commemorating Armistice Day with a Service of Remembrance on the iconic Armed Forces Memorial yesterday.

Each November, the people of Walsall come together to observe Remembrance Sunday, a solemn day to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served and gave their lives in wars and conflicts across the world. The day is marked on the second Sunday of November, falling this year on Sunday 10th November, with ceremonies held across the borough.
