I have eaten here a few times now as it is close to where my Father lives and convenient for taking him out when I am visiting.
The staff are always friendly polite and very helpful and the one time I did have cause for complaint the manager was very apologetic and assured us that the next time we went in the same thing wouldn't happen (and it didn't).They serve good tasty food at reasonable prices. We shall be back next time I am home.

Da Vinci's has become our favorite local place to eat out. My family love Italian food so we tried it out a couple of years ago and we have been going back on a regular basis. Their set menus mean you can afford to go more often. The Sunday night £9.95 4-course menu offers a good choice, but we have gone a la carte on special occasions and enjoyed the sea food. After a recent holiday in Rome we went to Da Vinci's to try out our Italian but non of the staff could speak any! However the staff are always very accommodating, especially with the disabled members of my family.

Visited for my sons birthday on a Wednesday evening, my wife and son had the midweek special, both had the Prawn salad starter, who knows what the bright red sauce was on the prawns but all you could taste was vinegar. The main meals were fine apart from my Chicken Amalfi, which was meant to have Parma Ham in it, it had thin sliced ham inside, this was bought to the attention of the head waiter but he insisted that it should be normal ham, better amend the menu then! This is the fourth visit to this restaurant, general the food is very good but theres always been a small niggle every visit, will think again before coming here again.

Friends have been here and given good reviews so I was surprised to be disappointed by the food. The presentation of the prawn cocktail looked unprofessional, the duck was over-cooked and the mushroom sauce totally overpowered the flavour of the duck, and as for the 'lemon cheesecake', well it was more like a mousse! All in all a very disappointing evening. I won't be going again.

Treated my mom to our first visit to this restaurant today Tue 30th July and I am pleased to say it was fantastic. We had the lunch time special menu for £6.95 for a starter and main (or just £2 extra for a sweet). I had the meatballs to start which consisted of four meatballs in a tomato sauce topped with melted cheese (a meal in itself). Mom opted for the pate which consisted of two decent slices and a small side salad with a slice of orange. For the main we both went for the Spaghetti Neapolitain with chicken (not listed on the web-site menu at time of writing this review) which was a very light tomato/cream sauce...Delicious. Mom could not resist the desert of crepes with two scoops of ice-cream with a strawberry and couple of blackberries (again not listed on the web-site menu).
Both the waiter and waitress were very friendly and attentive so all-in-all it was a truly enjoyable visit and we would definitely go back again.

We visited the restaurant having heard good things about it from a relative to try the 'Sunday special - 3 courses for £9.95 per person - and weren't disappointed.
We ordered a range of starters: The Costolette Deliziose (ribs in a rich orange sauce) got the thumbs up from myself and my elder son and was very tasty and filling. My younger son son had a lasagne starter which again was full of flavour. My wife had the melon starter which was - well- honeydew melon.
For mains, two of us had the duck which came with a delicious mushroom and red wine sauce. The duck itself was ok, but well done (to be fair, the waiter had informed us this would be the case before we ordered). I had the chicken, stuffed with ham and cheese which came with broccoli , cauliflower and new potatoes - very filling. My youngest son chose the Spicy Calzone
- an enormous portion stuffed with chicken, salami, and meatball with an flavour-packed bolognese sauce.
The desserts we chose were the cheesecake, apple pie with ice cream and the chocolate fudge cake, all very tasty and finished off the meal nicely. The one minus here was that the apple pie pastry was a little soggy for having been reheated in the micro rather than an oven.
For drinks we ordered a bottle of house chardonnay which came in at a very reasonable £10, along with a bottle of Peroni and two cokes.
All in all, this was excellent value for a total of £56 for four people including drinks and olives and bread. If you're looking to celebrate a family birthday or perhaps for an alternative to the usual Sunday options of a carvery or a curry, you shouldn't be disappointed. We'll definitely be going back soon.

I have visited Da Vinci on several occasions now and will definitely visit again next time I am in the area.
The food is great and is really good value for money and the drinks are not vastly overpriced as they tend to be in lots of restaurants. The staff are all friendly and helpful and even though there is usually a few months gap between visits (I don't live locally or I would be there more) they always remember us.

First time at Da Vinci's
Firstly the staff are absolutely fantastic, nothing is too much for them, they were very attentive. The attention to etiquette was noticed by my partner, she stated that there were no gaps.
The food was ( now this makes me feel bad because everything else about the place is top notch )based on price was ok, but it's not for a special occasion, there was nothing jaw dropping about the food.
My dish was just ok!!! No cream in the cream sauce! Basic's!! My partner was picking a few bones from her sea bass, not a biggie but when your having a romantic night out you want it, for a night out to remember, for instance my other half didn't like having to put bones on the side of her plate whilst we spoke!!Please don't get me wrong the experience was ok and was priced for your pocket, but for a special night out there are other places in Aldridge that whilst the staff are poor the food is jaw smacking

No,they don't have fake Italian accents, what the do have is good food and wine at a very reasonable price.I have dined there with friends, from a party of ten to only two of us.Nothing in my opinion is too much trouble for the manager and staff. One example was to send out for brown bread,as that is the only sort my friend can eat.The set mid week menu is great value £15 99 for three very substantial courses and a bottle of wine per couple, what more could you want from a midweek night out?nothing in my opinion.
