Always friendly and relaxed despite being a busy place, Utopia makes the effort (without obviously trying) to put you at ease, to remember you and to listen to what you want. Head massages are always offered and the chairs used to sit in whilst being shampooed are massage chairs which are fine after a busy week. There is always a courtesy phone call to remind you of your appointment a couple of days beforehand and a loyalty scheme enables you build up a saving from one of your next appointments.

I have been going to Utopia since it first opened. The staff are very professional and friendly and the salon is chic and classy. They have a wide range of hair products and their beauty salon is great. They have the most modern premises and equipment, but marry this very well with old fashioned values of customer care. The wonderful folk at Utopia made me feel welcome and relaxed from my very first appointment. They understood right away the kind of cut I wanted, where the other places I had gone to never did, and I feel absolutely wonderful every time I step out after my hair cut/colour. I went in a few months back to see if they could do anything with my rebel hair for a formal function and I came out with an absolutely fantastic French Twist that stayed in place for over 12 hours. Even my partner said 'Wow!' - and he's a man who doesn't notice when my hair is done up. Every one of the very talented people in the shop does their best to give you the haircut that is exactly what you want. The prices are reasonable and the shop is always clean and tidy. I won't go to anyone else and I recommend them to everyone!

The whole family love coming to this hairdresser - they don't seem to mind the children playing in the corner or having a look through the rollers and brushes tray. They always give me a hot chocolate and biscuit (even if its just the kids in having their haircut).
