Quiet with a cafe and restaurant, but no play area for kids or space to have a kick about.

Lovely park but when we got there the cafe was closed and they shut the footpath passed the cafe and did not put a detour sign up and we were not local to the park

Lovely little park with a choice of places to eat! We stayed close by and had a lovely wander around the walked kitchen garden. There is a restaurant within the park and next door a cafe that supports the local hospice. We had lunch there and it was lovely inc gf options.

A really nice walk with sweeping views. The walk is not too strenuous and takes approximately 1 hour from the car park and back round.

Nice to visit after shopping in Ulverston. Lovely views from Hoad monument and a nice cafe with the most amazing millionaires shortbread ever tasted. Only disappointment was no suitable play equipment for small children. A couple of baby swings would be good.
