I LOVE the White Hart, I admit to being a long term regular, but that's purely because it oozes character, has great food & drink, superb staff and is in a most exquisite location.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay, great location to tour and visit South Lakes with easy access to nearby Ulverston. Great bar stocked with a very good selection of real ales and my partners favourite Timmermans strawberry beer. Lovely comfortable rooms and best for us they allow the very well Behaved dog to stay. The food and meal service is top quality and I commend this place as one best places to stay in the lakes.

My local for almost 30 years, The White Hart at Bouth is simply THE most warm and inclusive venue imaginable..locals and visitors from the most diverse range if backgrounds imaginable all mix amicably, enjoying a good craic, a fabulous culinary feast from the menu and a superb range of real ales, and quirky alternative beverages. All this set in a traditional Inn with real fires and a beer garden with the most stunning views and sunsets. What's not to like!!

Oh my what a lovely place. We stayed there for a week me my wife and two kids. We're ready to get back to Lake District from Malta because we are certain there is a lovely place we can stay in. Kids enjoyed the beautiful countryside and Mum and dad enjoyed having a pint whilst kids where upstairs .... and what about the food lovely and exceptional views. Simply the best
