Rather nice 'olde' pub. Untouched by the metal and shiny surface brigade of so called modernists!

We are regular visitors to The white Hart the views from the back are amazing as is the food. It was our first visit after lockdown restrictions lifted and it felt so good and safe. The tables were far apart and all safety factors in place, even one as a time to loo. The food was the same high quality as usual, I had the lamb roast amazing. Its lovely to be back we have missed it so much. The management team are amazing everything under contol.

This is a great little pub/restaurant with quite a few different food choices with a park literally just next door so is a good option if you have kids, would recommend.

Superb meal and excellent portion sizes. The Duck Chilli burger was delicious. Above your standard pub and up there with your best high end city restaurants.

We visited The White Heart on 25.10.2020. Nice food but the one thing that really bugged me was being charged ÂŁ3.95 for extra gravy on my Sunday dinner, I really think that is extortionate. If I was informed before asking for extra gravy I would of said no to the gravy lol. I've never been charged for gravy on a Sunday lunch ever, and there was literally a ladel of it, the most expensive gravy ever.

Just spent 3 nights at this cracking public house.
Our room was absolutely fabulous. Old oak beams and a floor like Blackpool big dipper. Don't forget that the pub was built in 1680.
Great selection of beers and spirits and a good menu with all the dishes cooked to perfection.
Couldn't recommend the White Hart more highly and would definitely go again.

Just got back from a really lovely meal for my parents anniversary. Good hearty portions of really tasty food. Lovely atmosphere. Just as a note, bring a coat as we're moving into winter as you'll possibly have to wait in the porch before you're seated because of social distancing and spacing. Would definitely go back for another meal in the future!
