Went to the market last weekend with my granddaughter for the Halloween events. We spent over 2 hours in there, had something to eat and drink at Mammy’s cafe and it was great listening to the DJs playing Halloween music and then I took her to Creepy Crafts and we made a Halloween wreath. I couldn’t believe it was free of charge. We had a lovely time and bought some Halloween sweets from C E Sweet Box Treats and a bracelet from Goodness Gracious Gifts.

My little granddaughter loves coming with me to shop for sweets and dvds in the market hall. It’s a great place to spend time looking around the stalls and finding a bargain or something new!

The market is looking really festive and the traders are stocked up with some specialist gifts. Definitely worth a visit.

Took my watch to Harts for a new battery last week. Great service and value for money. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Took my granddaughter to the Christmas grotto. What a lovely experience and it was free too. Each child received a gift from Santa. Thank you!

Barrow Market is the best place to shop locally and support independent businesses. I always call in and try to buy what I need in the market.

As a man I don't like too much fuss when shopping. The Market is my ideal place to buy what I need. Lots of variety and friendly stall holders. I don't have to ask for my regular purchases because they know what I want! I buy fesh fruit and veg, meat, use the mobile man, chips computers and mooch around Fat Bob's and Retro Cove. I think it is so important to support the Market and local traders. Great job everyone. Keep it up!
