I was happy with the conveyancing at most levels but there were a couple of things that I didn't think were handled well.
There was quite a delay as a result of the anti money laundering process. Admittedly, my financial affairs could be described as more involved than standard, although I would imagine anyone buying a rental property would have plenty of cash movements in their accounts.
My complaint on the AML has reduced my rating from 5 stars to 3.
Firstly, I believe that my solicitor should have started this process earlier. I was not asked for information until a few days before scheduled completion and this was nowhere near long enough.
Secondly The information I provided was misinterpreted a couple of times despite clear labelling and notes, resulting in an endless ping pong of emails.
Thirdly, resolution finally came when it was suggested I speak to the AML guy on the phone. This should have been suggested long beforehand and would have saved a lot of unnecessary emails and time.
Fourthly, when completion was finally achieved I was told that I was being billed an extra £100 plus vat "for additional time spent on AML". If anything I would have expected a deduction from the final invoice.
However, as you can't complete without paying the solicitor's bill ADK essentially had me over a barrel with that. I felt that was a little "salt in the wounds"!
Finally it took 3 months for what should have been a very straightforward task, given that I didn't want any searches or to chase up any issues with the lease. I do accept that for all I know the delays could have been due to the seller's solicitors and the need for home working.

Me and my husband just completed our purchase through ADK. We were kept up to date throughout and nothing was too much trouble. I have dealt with previous solicitors in the past and can safely say that these guys have been the best. I would definitely recommend ADK and will be using them again in the future.

I live in Stockport but happened to be advised about ADK as the house purchase had fallen through for the previous buyer so i decided to use these solicitors as they had background knowledge of the address I wanted to buy. Anyway, what an amazing decision that was. I had the Privilege of being looked after by Nichola and Rifat. They were awesome throughout. Very thorough and reliable. Always managed to return emails promptly and precise. If I ever needed to use a solicitor again I wouldn’t hesitate in using ADK again. They were brilliant. I think we were ahead of most of our chain the whole time. Again Nichola and Rifat were brilliant!!!! thanks guys we did it !!

I was pleasantly surprised by ADK after being a bit skeptical at first and having never instructed a solicitor before but when going to buy a property the sales progression team sang their praises. Unfortunately the sale didn't go through due to the state of the property but ADK promptly sent me a cheque for the £300 I had sent them for all the searches they needed to do.
I'll definitely be using them again when house hunting in the future.
The admin team were also nice and helpful whenever I had any naive questions which was a bonus too

Very impressed with service from ADK Law during the sale of my leasehold flat. From the several conveyancing solicitors I have dealt with in the past, ADK Law have been by far the best. They were very prompt with all communications, and there was always someone to speak to if needed. They kept in regular contact throughout, and I felt all the team members I dealt with were courteous, prompt, and professional. We managed a completion within my required timescales, despite some leasehold issues experienced. Would highly recommend, and will definitely use again if I ever need a solicitor. Their price was very competitive price too, so am very happy.

I then found ADK Law online who's prices were almost one third of my previous solicitor so I was sceptical about the service I would receive.
My solicitor was Mohammed Adam. He was FABULOUS. So approachable, so down to earth and communicated clearly with me during the whole process. It was such a breath of fresh air considering my earlier experience.
I thorough recommend ADK Law to everyone. Just because their prices are cheap does not mean the service you receive will be likewise. They have been brilliant with me and I cannot speak highly enough of the service they provided me, especially Mohammed Adam.

Didn't know what to make of the company as I chose them off a comparison website. Thankfully though, I chose the right company to go with! I had firstly instructed them on the sale of my house then at a later date to instruct on the purchase of new. Their price was fair. What makes them 5* is the communication from them has been excellent. I was informed of the lady who would be overseeing both the sale and purchase and given her direct email address. My purchase has taken much longer than expected but that was due to the current owners and their solicitors. With the volume of questions I had for her, the response was prompt, informative, friendly yet professional and met all my expectations. I would certainly recommend to anyone.
