Good location, great staff but rooms need a refurb. Nice hotel at the perfect location with very friendly staff. Good breakfast with a selection of hot and cold food. Although the room was clean it was dated and could do with a refurb.

Exceptional Lovely clean hotel, breakfast was exceptional

We stayed over Easter Weekend, on arrival the receptionist greeted us, everything was fine, we did all the usual checking in protocol,
However we were not offered a concierge or any help with the bags up to our room, which we have always had as standard in any hotel,

Our room was the Pitch View corner suite,
The room was exceptionally clean hygiene wise however really needs TLC and updating, (rust on the towel radiator, seal round the bath needs looking at & decor dated) however we are led to believe the hotel is being refurbished this year, it really needs it!
The bed was perfect for us, and my extra pillows where adhered to, the showers are absolutely superb! We really liked the room.

After a good few hours shopping at Middlebrook we were ready to relax and hit the Bar,
Superb bar and staff, especially the lady with the dark curly hair and glasses, great selection of draught, football on the TVs, initially it was just us in the bar but it started filling up with residents and the atmosphere was fabulous,
We had Dinner in the bar area, menu is absolutely brilliant a selection of all sorts,
We didn’t have to wait long for our food but it really could have done with being Warmer, it was ok, the Steak in the Gyro was perfect but like I said all the food was just warm not hot.

Room service we ordered a dessert later on, it did take a while to arrive however the waitress was very apologetic but again it was warm not hot

We also had our breakfast as room service this was pre-ordered for 10.15 but didn’t arrive, I had to telephone down and it arrived at 10.35 …. Again definitely not hot, Luke warm at best, cold beans, and Orange juice spilt all over my tray.
On checkout I did mention the breakfast as I had made it clear on our form handed to the GM my husband is type 1 diabetic so times and extra toast for carbs is important, but this wasn’t adhered to unfortunately

The receptionist on check out (the same lady as whom was running the bar the night before, & delivered my pudding) apologised profusely and took the breakfast off the final bill which was very nice.

This is the the only reason I’d have left 3 or 4 stars, the food being warm/cold but I couldn’t do that to the staff who definitely deserve the 5 stars, and the lady with the brown curly hair and glasses is definitely the glue of the Hotel!

We will return definitely as we enjoyed the experience and like a shopping trip to Middlebrook
We may wait until the Refurb has happened.

Nice break, spotless, Great staff, food a bit disappointing it was always Luke warm or arrived cold & late. Prime location, especially for a good shopping spree at Middlebrook A little Dated but we believe it’s due a refurb this year.

You Whites.. Location to venue. Ease to get to (eventually). Staff. Good sized room. Excellent bar and Resteraunt. Sky Sports. Price.. Plenty of choice if towels. Prices in bar. Toilet flush needs making stronger or longer! Shower over a bath. Shower head and door could do with raising (not high enough for anyone over 6'). TV signal was awful. Assuming it was football fans staying but very noisy into the eay hours.

excellent stay ideal location for the football game. staff were really friendly and helpful. A bit crowded in the bar after the game, but understandable.

Good we couldn’t have breakfast as a family as there were no 6 seater tables so we had to spread across 2-3 tables

Relaxing Room very well laid out ,Breakfast was amazing plenty of choice .The location couldn't be better for attending the game. And the Staff behind the bar a credit Nothing its everything you expect

The Whites Hotel was perfect for convenience and comfort. For an away fan attending a Bolton Wanderers home match this hotel could not be better located. The entrance is about 50 yards from the away turnstiles. The hotel is five minutes' walk from Horwich Parkway railway station. The room was quiet and comfortable, the bathroom contained plenty of handrails etc., a shower mat and a spacious flat surface adjoining the wash basin. The full English breakfast was plentiful and stayed hot. Staff were friendly and helpful. Cooked breakfast did not include fried bread.

Honestly an amazing time, highly recommended it to friends and may stay again :) The room was clean and wonderfully laid out, the provided courtesy items were a nice touch to the room aswell, my partner and I had a terrific nights sleep as well as some fun dancing together once morning arose using the TV to play us some music :) We had a little trouble with the room when we first arrived in that we couldn’t see where the card machine was to insert our card and give us access to the room properly

The team at Bolton Whites are incredibly professional, friendly and accommodating. The booking process was very straight foward and the support available throughout the event was also very helpful. The conference room was clean, with a great view over the stadium pitch. The food served was of excellent standard with plenty available. Overall a great booking and I would recommend to any other businesses who are looking to host an external meeting.

Me and my husband thought the hotel was excellent and great value for money. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the staff were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
