Decent hotel well situated for motorway and rail access. Obviously very convenient for those going to the Macron stadium as it forms part of the south stand. The popularity of the hotel as a meeting point for fans makes it very busy before and after the match. If you are staying here be careful when parking on a matchday as the car park is used for away fans and there is gridlock in the car park.

A bit out of town so you will need a car but other than that was a fab place to stay and had loads of restaurants nearby. Staff were really friendly and the lounge area has a nice chilled vibe. Thumbs up!

Really great from start to finish - reservation team booked a pitch view room for my sons birthday and there was a birthday card and box of chocolates in the room on arrival to celebrate. Very friendly staff throughout. Room service dinner very tasty and quick delivery, breakfast buffet was superb quality. Also an enjoyable visit to the health club in the morning. Re previous reviews, yes the hotel looks a little tired in places but this is more than made up for by the reasonable pricing and friendliness of the staff

Great hotel, spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The Food is delicious and its reasonably priced. The staff are first class and really friendly and very attentive. Its walking distance to amenities. Would highly recommend, you never what famous face you might meet.

A great experience at the Bolton whites hotel. As always superb service from the team , Excellent food in the restaurant and a great breakfast the following morning. The pool and Gym could do with a bit of a facelift but I am being picky!

My wife & I stayed for two nights & enjoyed it very much. The location is excellently for shops, restaurants & train station only 5 minutes walk. Car parking at the entrance to the hotel.
The hotel itself is modern with impressive atrium and apart from the bar & brasserie there are communal quiet places to sit to sit & relax. Rooms very clean & comfortable. Very good pool & leisure facilities which unfortunately we didn't use on this occasion but will next time.
Above all, the staff were very welcoming & obliging. We will definitely stay again & for longer as there are so many visitor attraction in this area (Manchester & Salford only 25 minutes by train).

Meeting with friends at hotel for a football match. Hotel was lovely, perfect for what I was doing and staff were all excellent and very pleasant. Good location for food outlets/restaurants. All in all and excellent stay, would recommend the hotel and staff all very professional, pleasant and helpful

Stayed in bolton an extra night over the new year whilst visiting our daughter. Priced the whites hotel and had it at an absolute bargain. Hotel is very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were lovely you can upgrade with some rooms showing view of Bolton wanderers pitch if thats ur thing it is mine so i will definitely returning.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks.. 2 adults, 2 kids in an adjoining room. We loved our stay, very central with restaurants, bars, football stadium, cinema, bowling alley, shops, starbucks all within walking distance. The hotel has great partking and is walking distance to a train station as well as being very close to the motorway so easy to get to Manchester

Have stayed at the hotel on many occasions and always had a wonderful stay. The hotel is marvellous for both coming to a football game and doing some retail therapy. The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful we were there on a very cold night and the room was a little cool so they very quickly brought us a heater. The menu for meals is very good with a good choice vegetarian meals included. Breakfast is good if you like a full English but could do with a bit more variety if this is not your choice. The hotel is kept very clean but the rooms are in need of refurbishment the decor is a little tired. Parking is easy and the leisure facilities are very good, gym, pool, solarium, jacuzzi, steam and sauna room.

Excellent quality and value for money. Leisure facilities are excellent for guests. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a wide variety of options, coffee choices very good and ability to take a coffee away with you for the journey

The standard of service at this hotel has been maintained since it was built in 1998. The quality of breakfast served is superb. The attention to detail by all the staff throughout the hotel was of a very high order. .

Playing Bolton away? We did and stayed the night before. Room had a view of the pitch which my son loved. Superb hotel, lovely swimming pool, friendly staff and parking right by the ground. Highly recommended and reasonabable rates too.

We stayed in the Bolton Whites Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay with them. The hotel was very clean and we had a great breakfast each morning with the fruit smoothies being a favourite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone as it is also within walking distance of the train station to head into Manchester City Centre.

Had a lovely sleep at the bolton whites the hotel is lovely ,bed nice and comfy for a standard room nice and clean great for a night to see family for xmas and staff very helpful I would stay here again

Stayed here a few times. Good service, quality of room, especially inner rooms overlooking football pitch. Restaurant good, but a bit pricey. Could do with a menu refresh as does not appear to have changed since our last visit several months ago. Breakfast was excellent five *s. Reception staff efficient, but not rushing you to move on.

Spent two nights here over new year. Pleasantly surprised by the spacious room and the comfort of the large king size bed. Enjoyed the bar, and delicious breakfast. The only drawback to the whole experience was Bolton Wanderers beat the Iron, who we had come to support! We would visit here again, and it was really easy to find. The nearby retail park offered lots of dining opportunities too.

Overall experience was great again. This must be the 6th NYE Celebration. Over the Past 12 years. I don't think we have had a bad New Years Celebration ever.

It's a lovely hotel we did go as 3 family's and everyone of us had check in problems which wasn't good the hotel itself as fantastic facilities good swimming pool gym etc the majority of the staff were fantastic good value for money

Although we stayed at a very quiet period for the hotel (between Christmas & New Year) the hotel was spotless, the staff were polite & courteous and the room was lovely.
The food in the bar area was fine, nothing fancy but very nice. It was a shame that the restaurant was closed over the holidays. Our room was cleaned promptly every morning. No complaints at all.
