Right from the start when I found G & M Window's advertisement in ‘Our Local’ traders magazine and noticed a friendly looking man stood next to a G & M Windows van, I read all the text about their professional service and excellent workmanship and I gave them a call. Within a few days George who was also the friendly looking man in the Local magazine arrived at my house so I instantly felt at ease. He measured up and the next day we had the quote. We were able to negotiate the quote and in time for Christmas too.
Dylan and Leo fitted our French doors and side door. They did an excellent professional job and cleaned up perfectly. Everything from start to finish has been perfect and we can already feel that the hall way is much warmer.

Just had our front door fitted by GM Windows and it looks so good I just had to attach the photographs. George kept in touch with us from start to finish and even sourced the glass door panel that we really wanted. The lads Matt and Leo were professional, approachable and did a fabulous job fitting the door. We had a minor issue with the side panel glass which was rectified immediately. All for a great price. As an architect I know that the replacement window & door marketplace is a rather crowded environment. With some regrettable exceptions the overall quality of the actual ‘product’ could be considered similar; details, features and delivery of service are obvious variations of course.

Trusted recommendation and inspection of the installations was our starting point followed by an initial meeting with, George.

That was the beginning of what can only be described as a most remarkable experience.

George was prompt, courteous, professional and above all knowledgeable. The installation was for my mother-in-law and George understood instinctively both her immediate needs and her anxieties, taking the time and care to ensure that both were addressed to her satisfaction.

The works were commenced well within the initial timescale discussed, in fact well ahead of schedule. Another huge ‘thumb up’ for GM Windows & Doors as I know from bitter experience that the contrary is often the case!

I was on site for the installation and I can only describe the installation team of Dec and Taz (excuse the spelling!) as exemplary. To observe them working was a pleasure. They were disciplined, methodical, polite and courteous. When asked questions by myself or my mother-in-law they exhibited a broad knowledge and answered with confidence and patience. Operating in seamless unison the installation was completed to a superbly high standard. It is no surprise to learn that George operates a formidable apprenticeship and is a stickler for detail.

It is obvious that George is proud of his family heritage in the industry and continues to strive for perfection and quality while remaining extremely good value for money. He has a strong ethos and upholds enviable brand values; every customer touchpoint certainly confirms this. I can only say that this is remarkably refreshing and gratifying to experience first-hand.
