There was noise from a loud fan in the bathroom and industrial fans outside all night, so not a restful sleep unfortunately. And the aircon was broken.

The staff from reception to cleaning were all so friendly, smiley and genuinely happy to make conversation just like good old service used to be like. They care about your stay and make you feel really welcome.
Watered down fruit juices at breakfast, a big no no for me as it cheapened the meal.

A nice stay
Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. Lovely breakfast available.
The parking below the hotel is not a great area for manoeuvring. Pillars make it difficult to enter and exit parking spaces. Entrance to hotel from car park is from a locked door opened via a buzzer. This was not answered on two occasions throughout stay so there was a need to walk out of the car park around to the front of the hotel. Nothing major but a little inconvenient walking children around the car park which has tight corners entering the area.

it was as very clean & tidy. the staff were excellent

Lucky enough to get a last minute booking for the night of the Ironman Event. My husband was taking part in the event and we wanted somewhere local to crash near by afterwards.
At check in I was greeted by a lovely helpful lady who upgraded us to a suite.
We were in room 423. Very large room with corner sofa. Bathroom had a bath and a separate shower with nice Dove Shampoo & body wash.
Loads of plug sockets. Only thing it lacked was a mini fridge.
I went down and ordered food and this was ready to be collected within 15mins. The Vegan pizza was spot on. I wouldn’t recommend the Ravioli which was not cooked and still cold and hard.
Breakfast was a standard buffet. Had plenty of choice.
All in all if you are looking for a well priced hotel in Central Bolton this is well worth a stay.
