There for a wedding, staff very helpful, room clean and shower great👍. The hotel was an easy walk to the centre for a wedding and the reception was in the hotel. Lovely breakfast self serve. Thought the price of the room was quite high for the location and there wasn't any sort of discount granted as part of the wedding party.

Good hotel choice for Bolton The hotel was good in every respect, but the very positive attitude of the staff really gave an added value to that. They were polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They made us feel relaxed even when we were the last people at breakfast, nearly at checkout time. The bathroom was a little narrow, although the facilities were good.

Very good we booked a executive Room for 2 Adults. When we arrived there was a Double Bed and a Childrens bed all set up which made the room very cluttered and no room to use the armchair. when we told reception they said that we had booked for 2 Adults and 1 child but clearly we had not because we don’t have a child so they blamed it on Booking.Com for the mistake. I showed her my booking for 2 Adults only.

We have been using this hotel every time we came to visit our daughter at University. (Which is a 20 minute walk away.)So four years. It is the perfect place. Easy check in and out. Polite, happy reception staff. Free parking. It is worth paying a little extra for a larger room but the standard rooms are perfectly fine also.
Breakfast is pretty much your normal hotel buffet. Cooked food, pastries, bread/toast, cereals, drinks etc. A little over priced but cheaper if you book it online when you book your room.
Evening menu at the bar if you didn’t want the restaurant.
Our daughter has since left Uni this year So I will miss coming up to visit Bolton and this hotel

Fabulous stay Great location for the town centre. Front desk staff were very helpful and so lovely as was dining room staff. Cleaner was lovely and friendly. Room was lovely and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities. Lots of plug sockets!! Huge comfy bed!! Bathroom a bit on the small side but water pressure was very low.. Dove toiletries.. If anything was needed toothpaste etc we just had to ask. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of cooked food.. Cereals.. Fresh fruit... yoghurts.. Pastries Everything was just lovely for our 6 night stay.. Travelled from Spain for a wedding and our stay here was fab. Just the water pressure

We were staying for the Bolton food and drink festival with the James Martin’s gin team and we were absolutely impressed by the kindness of the staff. Thank you very much and a special one to Jeany (a.k.a. MUM). We’ll definitely be back!

The perfect place to stay just a short walk from the town centre Everything was perfect, delighted - helpful friendly staff, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, didn’t have to climb in bath for a shower! Although there was plenty to eat at breakfast I found the hot items too dry, so left it and went for the continental items which were perfect. Perhaps the hot items were there too long, I just don’t know. Such a shame as everything else as I said was perfect.

Hotel has benefitted from a much needed upgrade and the rooms are now really nice and modern, beds are exceptionally comfortable and ALL the staff are so friendly and welcoming, a real credit to the management team. Location is 5 minutes walk into the town centre and there is free on site parking. WiFi in my 4th floor room was slow so I ended up tethering to my phone instead. Breakfast was very nice with a great selection of items, but could be further improved with more frequent refreshes of hot food rather than cooking in bulk. Overall, really pleased with our visit and would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable stay in a value for money hotel. Hotel has had a much needed refurb and owners have done a fantastic job, rooms and bathrooms are great now, and staff are so so friendly, a credit to the management team, thank you all. Breakfast was nice, but maybe more frequent refreshes of the likes of sausage and black pudding rather than doing so much at once and risk them drying up a bit. Still very good though.

Not all as it seems The friendly checking staff, clean room and shower. Was attending a wedding which was at 3pm. I emailed the Inn and asked if we could book in slightly earlier just to freshen up and change into our Wedding clothes. Their reply was ignorant, very blunt and was basically a no!.... you have to prebook early arrival and in advance..... So to checkin at 1pm it's £20 And at 2pm it's £15 So the total room price plus a book in charge would of come to over £150 for a single night in bolton. We run a b&b/pub restaurant in the Peak District with stunning views and we charge less than this inn. Also.for Weddings or Early checkin we DO NOT CHARGE EXTRA. Totally lacks that personal touch and feels totally corporate aimed. Safe to say, I think we won't be staying again. Whoever types their emails definitely needs some customer service skills training, to be polite in engaging with their ( guests ). Unless it's actually a autobot it certainly seems so.... To top it off, the bride and groom were booked in to also stay. They turned up after their special day to be told ' I'm sorry but your room has been sold ' . Absolutely diabolical. Shameful.!!!.
