Lovely hotel, friendly staff, very nice food.
We have been quite a few times and always used the pool, jaccuzi & sauna, 😊 This visit was for my b.day treat from my husband, I was so looking forward to using the facilities again, but, was told at check in the pool is no longer there!!!! 😲 It did not state this when he booked and there are photos on the website 🤔

Excellent stay at the Holiday Inn
The hotel is very central in Bolton town centre. The staff are very courteous and friendly besides being hardworking too. This was a last minute spur of the moment booking as our boiler had broken at home but these hardworking people made our Christmas bearable. Breakfast was wonderful and is well worth paying the extra for it.

The reception staff would not or could not include my IHG members number for this booking because they said it was via an agent. They said those points credit etc could inly be done for bookings direct. Why offer booking.com at all if they cant credit this. It reflects badly on both IHG and Booking.com

Ok for a single night
The bed was very comfortable, the WiFi good coverage (even in the far corner of the 4th floor). The fish and chips for dinner in the restaurant was very nice and there was a good selection for breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Fabulous
Loved the proximity to the town centre and the transport links. Free parking meant I didn't need to use car for the whole weekend and staff were very welcoming. I'd use this hotel again.
Can't really complain about anything major. Bed was little soft for myself but still had comfortable sleep. Top ups for sugar for hubby tea forgotten. The bath takes a long time to run, I ended up using shower and tap to fill bath and it was still only just warm. But on all stay was very pleasant.

I liked the hotel and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant service was very poor so much so I left and went elsewhere. I waited 30 minutes and did not get an order taken.😡😡😡😡😡
