Great hotel. Stayed here for the first time a good few years ago and once again in June 2019. Amazing to see such standards maintained. The only thing that I didn’t like but not necessarily the fault of the hotel is that there is construction next door so when in the outdoor infinity spa pool, can see and hear tractors.

Would just like to say we were at our granddaughters wedding in the harmony suite. Food was nice however the bar area was very cold and the lady overseeing the event was very condescending towards my husband. She made the assumption because he was using a walking frame that he was senile and asked him if he would like a small/childs meal. I have to say my husband is neither senile or has dementia and can eat as well as any other adult!!!! My husband didn't make a fuss at the time but he was very upset as were other guests.
Please ensure your staff do not to make these kind of comments in the future.

Lovely hotel with really nice facilities. Food is priced high which is fine if it's good...it wasn't. Sent first order back which was pie of the day. The meat had seen better days. It was very fatty and hard to cut. I'll try another dish and if it's not up to scratch I'll be eating elsewhere for the rest of my stay.

Nice little independent shops, ie. clothes, bakers, gifts etc. However, pubs scruffy and dated and feels cold, both in atmosphere and temperature. May look better at night when you can't see it properly. Disappointed in how they've let it go. Lots of building work going on up the main drive, don't know what they're building but think that it'll take away the kirb appeal, shame as it was such a nice place.

Most of the staff were lovely in the Spa, bar, restaurant and hotel. A small number of staff need to update their training as well as current knowledge of offers, prices and times.
You may have teething problems with your new payment procedures but it does not reflect well on yourselves when one cannot pay the bill in advance nor credit costs to the room.
When we received the bill, it was not itemised into prices for bed, breakfast and evening meal, pamper items, drinks etc. So it was difficult to check what we had paid for.
Sunday morning breakfast was not organised very well at all. There were less staff on duty and waiting for coffees and teas took so long. Self service with the cooked items was not as good as Saturday mornings where you ordered foods required via the catering staff and cooked in the kitchen. There wasn't all the items on the list (poached eggs nor veggie sausages). Two of us had eaten the rest of the breakfast by the time these items had arrived.
One of the two rooms we had, needed the ceiling painted to hide the water stains.
The Last Drop Village has so much to offer that these minor problems spoil the overall lovely weekend we all had.

Spare facilities are great and really enjoy coming here. Me and the Mrs live in Manchester and now use the facilities fortnightly. The outdoor heated pool is my favorite part and could spend hours in there although the recommended time limit is 15 mins. Well worth a visit only let down by the Afternoon Tea which is very overpriced and is TERRIBLE!!!

Nice hotel & decent breakfast. Food and drinks are pretty expensive. The Spa facilities are a bit tired and kind of shoved to the side. You're also only allowed to use the relaxation rooms if you've had a treatment, and it's a bit off putting how the infinity pool overlooks the car park.
TLDR; nice hotel, spa seems to be an after thought, food and drinks a little on the expensive side.

Accommodation very good, Spa area brilliant Restaurant ok but expensive. We had an inclusive 3 course meal which was acceptable but upgraded steaks at plus £9 for a small sirloin instead of a rump we thought ott. Overall very good and we would be very happy to return.

Out standing staff, grounds, facilities and spa facilities. We paid for a room upgrade, could have been modernised and had more than an electric heater (the complimentary robes were needed mid-January). However, overall we had a relaxing, no pressure stay and woukd be back.
I do however feel the tray charge per person, per order for room service works out silly.

Lovely hotel with great facility - however very overpriced!!!
Rooms small/cramped but the beds are very comfy. Breakfast is bog standard - Had a nightmare getting a vegan option even though we had specified on booking.

Love this place its always been my favourite spa and after having the chance to stay over i experienced the comfort of the rooms in a quaint little village style setting. Simply stunning views with staff who complimented the hotel.

Nice tea room, nice pub, all take tastecard so a £65 lunch became a £32 one. The only downside to our enjoyable day, my friend was sat on the cast iron bench at the pub, when he started to get up after an hour(as was stiff) the base of the bench split and crashed down, taking him with it.
Wasn't really impressed with that part of the day.
Plus, if I'd sat on the bench as well, it would've been even worse, I use to walking sticks, I'm disabled, with a bad back.
My poor friend is now awaiting a response, luckily there was a surveillance camera which we noticed afterwards that would have caught everything.

Great relaxing delayed Christmas treat. Few issues regarding tardiness with some guests meals, but we were okay. Relaxing spa, comfy room and good deals.

I made a last minute reservation. They were excellent. The room was very large and comfortable. Bathroom was spotless. Food in the restaurant was good, with a good choice of wines.

Second visit and it was full and service wasn't as spot on as last visit think over stretched. Also as surprise as was husband's Christmas present organized bottle of prosecco however in front of husband as checking in girl called Emma on reception said bottle of prosecco needs to be paid £27.50 please which was most dissapointing and spoilt surprise not great customer service. Rest of visit lovely but did spoil it a bit this time ☹

Hi the lady on the bar was a lovely person.a credit to your company .
Her service was excellent.
I forgot to get her name. But she was finishing at three pm.
I honestly think she deserves promotion
& a pay rise.

Once again I attended the Last Drop Village by providing my services for an event.
Over the years I've provided Entertainment with my Outdoor Laser Clay Pigeon Shoot but as were still in the Winter months this time it was perfect for my Indoor Laser Clay Pigeon Shoot used as entertainment for 24 delegates after a Conference.
The Hotel is extremely proactive all year round in providing outdoor or indoor quality Entertainment and Activities for their guests and deserve all the credit they receive.

Had a lovely time, very friendly staff, the food was tasty. Great breakfast buffet, the restaurant is looking a little tried, shame because the rest of the building looks good, definitely recommend.

Went on the thermal journey here. Lots of different spa rooms at different heat. Do the rooms in the right order and you will feel the benefits later. Very relaxing.

First time visited for a 50th birthday party. Lots of separate suites / function rooms for holding multiple events in. Ample parking and nice environment. Bar prices above average.

Lovely hotel we had a family room at it was nice and spacious a nice big flat screen allowing mirroring the was Carolers in the lobby which was lovely the only down side of the hotel was the tray service there was 4 of us so if we ordered room service the tray charge would of been £20 plus your food bill which is a bit excessive we thought the pool was nice tho we would definitely recommend this to others

Not only is the location, rooms and building nice but the facilities on offer are beyond amazing as well. The spa and pools are rejuvenating and the restaurant has a wide range of options. Kinda expensive but it's a boujee hotel so it's ok because you get what you pay for.

Love it here staff are friendly and facilities are generally clean however a little bit more attention to detail from cleaning staff would make it perfect (corners in changing rooms are often full of dirt as though it has been swept there and left)

Unfortunately the spa was still closed which was not clearly stated on the website while booking a room with spa access (or that only 45mins slots available) for only the pools. Disappointing. Rooms need updating but comfortable
