Stayed here for one night with work and i was pleasantly suprised. Set in its own grounds with lots of different little shops, hairdressers, tea shop the list is endless.

The room was lovely and had a brand new bathroom, plenty of tea, coffee and all shower products along with a good hairdryer.
The food in the resturant was really good and service was excellent.

The pool was one of the biggest i have seen for a hotel, also had a really good equipped gym.
I wished i was staying for longer than a night it was very enjoyable.

We booked our Wedding here in the lovely Harmony Suite, the room was dressed beautifully, and want to say a massive Thankyou to our lovely wedding planner Jacqueline. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she was always on hand for anything that we needed and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were amazing they even took all our gifts back to the room for us and especially Nasser the toastmaster kept the day running smoothly. The bridal suite was gorgeous with lovely views. BBQ was amazing burgers were massive :) and the evening buffet was lovely so glad I choose this venue so beautiful and relaxing with stunning views.

Nice relaxing stay for me and my friend.
Loved the spa facilities and infinity pool, loved the different steam rooms and sauna.
Rooms need updating and cooked breakfast was not all that.
We asked for the fried eggs and beans and got 1 egg each with a tablespoon of beans.
Not as nice as we expected.
Parking was good, we got a space near the reception.
Tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
The bathroom was very basic.
Lovely views.

Me and my partner visited the spa for a long overdue massage , and day of relaxing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The treatment staff were very professional and made you feel at ease. Access to the spa was great with two different sauna and steam rooms, Jacuzzi and swim out pool ( this was an added bonus as we had great weather) On leaving the spa i noticed my robe had been taken which made changing difficult, the staff happily provided and additional towel no questions asked. After relaxing we had afternoon tea which was just enough for two, following by a lovely drink in the bar terrace enjoying the sunshine. Would 100% go again and recommend a visit.

Good points:

Quirky and looks nice from the outside

Bar staff and restaurant staff good and friendly

Food was OK like home cooking, nothing special but not awful

Bed very comfortable

No issues checking in or out like other reviewers have said

Bad points

After a 6.5 hour journey we arrived in 3 cars and no parking spaces so had to park and unload on the road - don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel that cost over £300 for two nights and not been able to park!

Room dated and 'grubby' not dirty so much but the carpet stuck to your feet God only knows when that was last cleaned

Bathroom clean but bland and basic

Generally the hotel was OK but way overpriced for what it is - no better than the budget hotel chains at half the price to be honest

Would not stay again

Just returned from a night away at the last drop spa hotel, although we had an amazing time and enjoyed ourselves, there were a few niggles. First of, we walked in to our room to a strong smell of damp, I then noticed mould all over the window sill and curtains. The wall paper in the room was also hanging off. The bed was probably the comfiest bed I've ever slept in and the rest of the room was relatively clean.
We had an evening meal booked, which was nice but nothing to shout about. I ordered the vegan sausages for my main which wasn't that nice, I ended up leaving most of it. After the meal we sat in the bar, to which everything was turned off at 10pm, we ended up using our speaker and playing music as everyone else was also not happy with sitting in silence. The bar man (sorry we forgot to get his name) was so lovely and friendly so thank you. We had a lovely evening in the end.
The spa was Amazing, however i don't think it is right that we had to PAY for robes when we have already paid alot of money to stay.
Breakfast was also amazing. Overall we enjoyed our stay but probably won't return in the future.

Food was ok for starters but mains lacked effort, pint pulled had more head than bubbles. Receptionist was too cold and sharp for me and I do stay in some places. Went out on second night for food. Breakfast was £12.95 or £15 if you decided later. Chose smoked haddock but was told they didn’t have any 😬!!!!!! Like outer space - No real atmosphere.

Just returned from a fairly nice stay at this property. It really is a "Village" the place is much bigger than I thought and only found this out after a walk around the property. Has a nice spa and pool, food was okay but service a bit hit and miss all over. However I stayed with my family and it served a very good purpose for our stay, quite comfortable.

I stayed for three nights and it was very comfortable. The location suited our needs. The hotel is really a village had not realized until I had a walk around the grounds, quite a big place.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

We stay here regularly when we come to visit family who live nearby. We always bring the dog and find the hotel accommodating, staff friendly and overall, very relaxing experience. On the edge of Bolton there are plenty of rural walks you can go on with great views.

Location is stunning. Hotel complex is amazing and quite unique.

As North Americans,we missed A/C and our room was very hot with no ability to open the window more than a crack.
Also, we were near a public door that was used a lot and banged very loudly until 1am and started up again at 7am. That could be easily fixed if the management would adjust the speed at which the door closes. Hope they look into it.

Otherwise, the hotel complex was very impressive and the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. We would definitely return to The Last Drop Village Hotel on any future trips to Bolton.

My wife and I had a spa day with evening meal, overnight stay and breakfast. We had a completely relaxing stay with good food, good service and a relaxing spa. A special mention for Sarah ( with the bandaged finger ) for her efforts on our behalf when we had difficulty with access to our room.

We booked the package from Wowcher to include Prosecco, two course dinner, overnight stay including breakfast and full use of spa with a 25 minute treatment.

We were not disappointed.

Spa was beautiful and the thermal suite was pure relaxation with the headed outdoor indoor pool.
The food on the evening was great also. The manager Sarah managed the busy restaurant very well and Lucy our server was also very good.
Breakfast this morning was just as good. Aileen ran her team well and offered a welcoming enviroment and Jordan was a very happy individual indeed.

The bedrooms were perfectly clean and just what you need. The bathrooms however are crying out for a referb (please replace shower curtain in room 56 as it smells funky).

Overall an amazing relaxing stay and I will definatly be back in the near future!

Had my wedding here a few years back. The venue was awesome, staff couldn’t do enough for us and the food - meal and buffet was amazing. The hotel room and breakfast was also great. Spa and pool is fun with a hot tub area outside too.

There's definitely good and bad about this place, but the good far outweighs the bad.
Visited in July for a family wedding.
First, the not so great. The hotel is pretty tired, and there are bits that definitely need updating, like the framed prints that are very faded. There are inconsistencies with the rooms. We were given room 217 (I think), but it didn't have enough beds. We called reception who said someone would come and move us. That room had robes and complimentary toiletries. We were moved down to room 107, which had none of that. Family members 2 doors away, also in an executive room, had toiletries, robes and chocolates. Little things, but it's the little things that bump a place up to 5 stars.
Also, the coffee at breakfast is poor instant coffee.
A standard G&T was over £7.50, which is disgusting. That's more than many London pubs I've been to!
Now, the good! The wedding was beautiful! The ceremony room was absolutely sweltering, but the wedding breakfast room was air conditioned, so was great. The food was delicious, and the service was perfectly balanced. Not too intrusive.
The breakfast was good, except for the coffee. The food was regularly replenished, and a good variety of pastries, fruits and cereals. One suggestion is to label the fruit juices. Even after tasting, we didn't know if the dark one was blackcurrant or prune!
The swimming pool is clean and warm. Only went in the family friendly one as we had kids with us. It's basic, but when you go with kids it's about family time together. The swimsuit dryers in the changing rooms are surprisingly good!
We didn't venture into the shops, just the main bar and the pub. If it's hot, the pub is great as it's very cool.
The showers in the rooms weren't excessively powerful, but a constant temperature, which is the main thing!
I asked for a sewing kit, and was given one at reception.
The wedding went without a hitch. All very well organised, and I would highly recommend.
All in all, a great place, and would return.

Lovely stay and what am amazing job the hotel did for a family wedding. The room was good however damp carpet due to a leaking radiator was the only hiccup.

We hadn't stayed here for a year and the suite had been updated since our last visit. It looked more modern and had a safe in the room, which were all improvements.

We couldn't fault the suite or the hotel staff and the setting is amazing.

The problem we had was with parking. Parking is a real issue, especially if you are disabled. There are four disabled spaces, but we noticed two of the four cars parked did not have a Blue Badge. We came back from a night out and it was close to midnight and there were cars near reception, who had just arrived and made their own space as near to reception as possible. The next morning other cars had obviously arrived later and they had made spaces even nearer to the hotel, blocking the way to drive round. There was also a car parked in the white hatchings behind the two disabled spaces, blocking in the car next to us and making it difficult for us to get out. This would stop me from staying here again, if there was a viable alternate, as we had somewhere to be at lunch time, over 100 miles away, so couldn't wait be waiting for someone to move their car.
