But, it was very over priced. Breakfast was not included. If it had of been it would have been perfect.

A huge place, a hotel, conference center, spa, gym - everything's here, plus beautiful surroundings. A great place to rest, practice sports, or to have a wedding (actually, this place is famous for it). There a bar and a restaurant here as well. Decent fish and chips. Generally speaking - worth coming.

I had an Aromatherapy Firm & Tone Body Wrap a few weeks ago and I felt AMAZING afterwards. The therapist is called Lidia (lovely lady) and I felt so relaxed it was unreal. Given I have anxiety, it was the most relaxed I've felt for a long time.

Thanks Natalie, I will forward your feedback to the team
Just had a lovely girlie overnight with family and friends. Weather although I know you can’t order it was Fab but still think the venue would’ve been great if not. Real value for money so much so we’ve booked for next year. Early check in late check out with our spa package booked 4 rooms little treat on arrival with a three course and breakfast and treatments thrown in. The hydro infinity pool lovely. Very relaxing with really friendly staff both hotel and spa. Give it a try you’ll enjoy

Visited for the Friday night special, Nice new reception area and opened up bar. Spent a couple of hours sat on the bar terrace which is lovely, really nice modern room, comfy bed and good facilities, the lack of fridge is a small niggle. Our package included a three course meal which was excellent. We visited the spa area the following morning, a very nice way to start the day. The buffet style breakfast was nice, food all seemed freshly prepared. All the staff were friendly and helpful, we will definitely be returning.

We have stayed many times and I can honestly say this was the best. The hotel as improved greatly since our last visit. It is noticeable that improvements have been made all round. Its new foyer is brilliant and it opens the bar nicely. The hotel appears to have had a deep clean. We came across some of the nicest of staff who where well trained and very pleasant. We met the manager who took the time to great us and ask if our stay was OK. We also realised that the staff appeared much happier and very positive about their manager...looking forward to our next visit

This is a really nice hotel. The rooms are nice and well equipped (although a fridge would’ve been nice). The restaurant was a nice atmosphere with great food, I may have overindulged on the cheesecake. My only gripe was the bathrooms, they’re a bit dated (shower curtains?!?!) and the showers were horrendous. The water ranged from being either scalding hot (and I mean SCALDING!) or ice cold, without the temperature being adjusted or even touched. It was difficult to have a decent shower when you kept having to step out of the water around the 20second intervals of a normal water temperature.

Breakfast was nice with a large selection of breakfast foods on the buffet, but the plates were again SCALDING hot! I had to carry mine with my fingertips and using two serviettes.

Would’ve been full marks if not for these issues though.

This was our second visit to the Last Drop and won't be our last, staff were so helpful and accommodating on the day, and in advance during the planning of the event. It was our largest conference to date with over 140 delegates registered and 95 bedrooms used. In addition to the conference involving our General Secretary, six workshops and a video launch, we also hosted a Conference barbecue dinner in the evening for delegates and guests. Food served at lunch and in the evening was amazing and our delegates' feedback has been very positive overall!

The hotel layout is quirky, giving the feel of being in a small village with shops, a pub, tea room etc. as well as all the usual facilities you would expect of a hotel and an amazing pool and spa with hot tub with outside section that allows you to soak while watching the world go by below, and various steam rooms and rainforest showers.

Bedrooms are recently refurbished and furnished/decorated to a very high standard.

We stayed on Sunday 1st July and our stay couldn't have been better.

The room was stunning, the setting was perfect and the staff were excellent. The spa facilities are great, although we didn't book any treatments. The outdoor heated pool was a delight to use, as the weather was lovely.

I can't recommend this place enough.

I brought my boyfriend for a night away and spa weekend and was honestly the most amazing and beautiful place I have ever been. From the beautiful rooms, to the event rooms to the fab spa treatments we received (back message and facial) we was so relaxed from the moment we arrived and the moment we left.

The pools and the saunas are also so tranquil and who new you could have so many types of saunas!!

We had the most amazing three course meal and breakfast before the pool 💕 but thinking we didn’t have enough time to still relax and enjoy everything the hotel had to offer the lovely receptionists said we could have a late check out which they didn’t have to do so thank you!

And lastly, thank to Sam O’Shaughnessy who helped make the booking so easy enjoyable! She went out of her way and even gave us a tour of all the beautiful rooms, village and shops. And to Vicky who made us feel so welcomed! 😊 Was also nice as the general manager Gerry McGee who introduced himself which you don’t get very often! Lovely to meet you and you have such an Amazing hotel!

We can’t thank you enough everyone for our time there and we will definitely be back! Home away from home 💕👋🏻

Stayed here as part of a coach tour. The only thing I would say is, I wish we could’ve stayed longer to see what the rest of the hotel had to offer!!!! The rooms were finished to a high standard with a little antiquey feel. Staff were friendly and food was amazing. Considering we were a large coach group, staff could not have served the food more professionally and quickly, like clockwork! If I was visiting that way again, I would book in a heartbeat! Lovely surroundings!

Lovely hotel and rooms and the gym, pool and hydrotherapy pool and saunas are fantastic!! Not the greatest welcome at reception when we arrived to be honest but the young barman made up for it later on with his cheerful friendly manner! The tea room is a bit dated and dark but friendly service and decent food!

Stayed here for the weekend whilst having a trip on the flying Scotsman. The room was nice and the hotel unusual ! It was part of a village like area with its own tea rooms, pub and shops. The spa facilities were good, especially the outdoor covered infinity hydrotherapy pool. The evening meal was beautiful and we will definitely book again.

Lovely village, attended for a friends wedding and felt very looked after. Staff very friendly and helpful, my partner was arriving after midnight so asked if I could keep a key for him behind reception and felt everything was attended to.
Comfortable beds, breakfast delicious and good variety. Tea and coffee supplied in room. Only negative was the shower being a bit pathetic with its pressure.
Didn't get to use the spa facilities due to time restraints but looked amazing from the outside, was very keen to get in to the pool overlooking the outside area/car park.

Stayed here for two nights whilst in the area for a family funeral. It was functional and clean but that is as positive as I can be. The room was small and dated, fire alarm went off early in the morning but was ignored. Maintenance men knocked on to say our shower was leaking into downstairs room, breakfast was passable but coffee terrible. The room breakfast was served in was very mediocre and not very clean. I did not use the spa which I read was very good

Booked a rejuvenation day for me and my partner for fathers day. included full use of spa and, afternoon tea and 3 treatments. We both had the back, neck and shoulder massage, scalp massage and facial each were 25 minutes. Bryoni who I had was fab, just the right pressure and chatted amiably through the facial but no chat during the massages which was spot on. She explained the products really well without any massive hard sell which was also good, I came away with a little bag of mini's to try at home. Spa facilities were good lovely infinity pool with jets, indoor Jacuzzi and steam and sauna rooms. Robes and towels provided, staff all excellent, afternoon tea was delish and left us full to bursting! It was our second time here for the day and will not be our last; can't fault it! (although when I looked online for the Decleor product I could've got it cheaper but that's my own fault for being impulsive!)

I enjoyed my stay with a work do alongside colleagues. We used the conference suites, which were quiet and we were cared for by Nicola who was excellent. I'm not from nearby so her knowledge of the area was really useful and it was great to have someone to rely on there while we were working. The guest rooms are quiet and cosy, the food provision was good with a selection of vegetarian options.

the positives - the receptionists were helpful and gave me an upstairs room which i wanted and it was a lovely room. number 77 large and lovely bathroom. room was fresh and clean and the large bed super comfortable - linen clean and cotton which was nice. towels all fresh and toiletries good quality - coffee and assorted teas were left. room cleaned and tidied every day to a high standard. room large with armchairs and a table which if you ordered room service was ideal. hotel in a good location plenty of cabs available and buses into bolton down the hill. plenty of nice walks and country area.

now the negatives.

only eat in the bar and restaurant on the last day - it was not good. 12 noon ordered a hot chocolate and a bacon and egg muffin as did my partner. hot chocolate made 3 times but it was not exactly HOT - muffins came out and then was taken back as they were sent to the wrong table although there were only 2 tables occupied at the time. eventually they re-appeared and they were cooked fine bacon well done as requested/.

went back at 6pm for dinner. disappointed service fell short on several occasions. food disappolinting. ordered the fishcakes for both of us - very fishy not enough potatoes in them - dressing about a teaspoon full and a few leaves. next i had the rump steak burger with cheese and bacon not good. burger king burger with bacon far superior - the burger did not have a lot of taste the bacon was thick bits and not crispy and as for the cheese a chunk of cheese probably microwaved on top and not melted enough. awful

however it was the service that needs sorting out. the fish cakes came out with no cutlery or condiments and we had to get up and sort this out. tables were not cleared as people left.

the overall impression is that most of the food is brought in from brakes bros.l or similar.

swimming pool looked inviting but the outside part overlooks the car park when it could have been overlooking the fields and grounds.

The hotel was great rooms very clean and comfortable - except we had trouble turning the taps on and off but we managed. Swimming pool and infinity pool great a really good size. Can't really comment on the food as we were with a coach party and food is different to that offered in the restaurant. Lovely position with walks in surrounding countryside.

The thing hat make this place is the pool and water spa. Free for hotel guests. Good size pool to do the laps in and, on business, not enough time to properly enjoy all the saunas, steam rooms and bubbly pools including one outside. Very frendly staff and simple but nice food menu. Quirky rooms, not a Marriot! Can get busy. No airco in the rooms. I had a very hot night in the attic room. Overall good value will stay again.

I had my wedding here on the saturday 9th June. The staff were fantastic and made sure the day ran smoothly.

I had lots of good comments about the wedding meal and buffet. The food was amazing.

I couldn't fault anything on the wedding day as it was perfect.

Had a lovely overnight stay here on 'Fabulous fizz Friday' deal. Nothing too much trouble. We had been allocated a room on the first floor but as mum struggles with stairs and their was no lift in the older part of the buding I asked if the had anything ground level. The receptionist moved us without question, helped with our bags and personally went to get our prosecco, robes and water from the original room and arranged for the bed to be split into twins. We were close to the spa which had a great pool and thermal suite. The evening meal choices included in the package were good and the food standard was excellent. Overall a great stay and we would definitely recommend and return
