Friendly, helpful staff. Every production has been of the highest standards. Also, it's definitely worth having a pre-theatre meal in the restaurant. You won't be disappointed.

The performance especially by members of Wingateds Brass Band was very good but considering a very expensive make over the seating does not provide suitable leg room. Ticket prices have also rocketed since the 'improvements'.

Went to the Octagon theatre last night to watch Brassed Off with my mum whom has severe mobility issues and requires a wheelchair. I cannot praise the whole team at the Octagon enough, we had issues with the seating visibility for mum and the team helped us move to a clearer viewing seat, nothing was too much trouble from helping with the wheelchair, walking us to the lift and carrying our drinks and checking in on us. The performance was outstanding, the creativity as the story was continuing around the stage really demonstrated the incredibly hard times.
The show and the staff lifted mums spirits as she had lost her husband in June and the Octagon was a place they loved to visit together. 5 stars for the show and 5 stars for the setting and the staff.

Wonderful production, a great cast and thoroughly enjoyable show. Went to see Brassed Off here and was amazed at just how brilliant it was. Such multi-talented actors, a well told story and thoroughly enjoyable music, quite honestly one of the best plays I have seen. If you are able to get a ticket i highly recommend it. Also, the staff here are also THE BEST! Such lovely, warm, welcoming and helpful people, everyone we came across was brilliant and helped us to have a wonderful night out. If you haven’t been, you must!
