This fair is worth travelling to. The sellers are so artistic,the prices are reasonable and everyone is friendly and chatty.
We go every year and it always leaves us ready for Christmas.

I visited this Fair for the first time on Sunday 4 December with my daughter-in-law, having seen all the advance advertising (always a good sign that an event is being run by someone who knows what they're doing!). It is not the largest event of its type that we have been to but I would say that it is definitely the most child-friendly one since Father Christmas himself was in attendance! We were greeted on arrival by an extremely good brass band and in amongst the crowds we spotted the Mayor and the Town Crier, so this is clearly THE place to be seen! The stallholders are an exceptionally talented bunch of people selling handmade crafts ranging from very reasonably priced stocking filler type gifts to the more expensive but exclusive gifts if you want to find something that 'little bit different' for your friends and family. The venue is entirely under cover, there is a café area offering drinks and snacks and there are also toilet facilities; the only downside is that the car park fills up quickly but it's definitely well worth parking in one of the nearby streets and walking if you have to. The icing on the cake is that funds were being raised for St Barnabas so you can do your bit for this local charity at the same time - see you next year!

Where to begin! The Fairy Tale Fair is extremely well organised and very welcoming. The organiser is full of innovative ideas to make it extra imaginative for stall holders and visitors alike and the marketing is very good. Visitors often comment on the quality of the work displayed at the Fair, and being part of it is great fun no doubt because the thoughtful organiser goes that extra mile to make sure that everyone has everything they might need on the day. Everyone who visits enjoys the warm, friendly atmosphere too. The organiser also selects a diverse range of artists and makers and so there is involvement of a wide section of the community. All this hard work to create a day that everyone enjoys is highly impressive.

the reasons I love The Fairy Tale fair are simple, everything they do is awesome! The fairs they organise are wonderfully well thought out, with lots of beautiful details for both sellers and visitors to the fairs. Claire always goes above and beyond to ensure her markets are must- visit events. From styling to social media coverage, there is nothing that I think they could do better.

Always a joy and a pleasure to exhibit and to visit, Claire is a committed professional and clearly works very hard in making sure The Fairy Tale Fair is the best experience for everybody involved. It always has a huge number visitors and the quality of exhibitors is apparent. The fair always looks fantastic and Claire puts a lot of thought into added extras; the choir at the November Open Market fair certainly gave it a special atmosphere. Altogether is comes very highly recommended!

I looooove the fairs that The Fairy Tale Fair puts together each year. Claire puts a lot of thought into who she wants to be part of the market and this means that anyone presenting at these events will be offering quality merchandise. I love that all the sellers at these fairs are small businesses with a love for their craft and this venue is the perfect place for them to shine. The fairs are always advertised and marketed really well too, so as a stallholder, I know that it's going to be an event that has traffic through it.

Claire's dedication to running, organising and promoting the fairs are second to none consisting of a diverse range of original arts, imaginative crafts and of course the stunning array of cakes. The work is all created locally and here you can buy directly from the artists themselves. The kids can busy themselves in the craft room with plenty of different activities from felt making to mini cake jewellery making and of course the wonderful face painting. The Fairy Tale Fair is perfect for all ages and is a truly magical event for the whole family.

There's so much more to these events than 'just another craft fair'. The traders are chosen well, so all the products on sale are of the highest quality. There's plenty of entertainment too - live music sets from local artists and face painting and creative tables for kids. There's a wonderful atmosphere and the fair is advertised comprehensively via flyering and social media, so thousands attend making it a success all round. It's a real lesson in how organising a craft fair should be done.

I'm pretty new to craft fairs but it is obvious how much effort goes into The Fairy Tale Fair. The atmosphere is excellent and there are plenty of extras provided to entertain - crafting tables for children, choirs and giant snow queens. Was I jealous of the giant Olaf? Maybe..!
As a seller I found it extremely well organised, plenty of information was given beforehand and the footfall was high.

I show my work at these fairs and I can honestly say they are the best events I go to. Always so we'll run, with the best atmosphere. They are real family aimed events, not just your average craft fair. Great fun!

The Fairy Tale fairs are a pleasure to attend both as a stall holder and visitor, Claire is a pleasure to work with she really does think of everything down to the last detail and goes out of her way to make sure everyone is happy and the fairs run smoothly. As a stall holder it is lovely to see the happy smiling faces and hear the lovely comments, the atmosphere is quite magical and sales were excellent!

I had a stall at the FTF in November and it was a massive success. There were crowds of people and such a great atmosphere. Claire and co advertised the event really wel and it ran smoothly on the day. I will be doing it again next year!
