Hove Civic Society is building a new sculpture plinth on the Kings' Esplanade to bring exciting new public sculpture to the city and to add to the artistic attractions of the seafront promenade.
The Plinth's arrival will create a buzz of excitement and be a magnet for Hove, attracting more visitors to the Hove end of the seafront and adding value to the local economy and community.
Hove Plinth will be inaugurated on the 21 April 2018 at 2pm and the first sculpture unveiled by the Mayor of Brighton.
The launch will be a memorable public event on the seafront with speeches, live music, an exhibition of the history of the project and its supporters, and lots of media attention..
