Brighton Museum Free Days
Join in once a month for themed Free Days at Brighton Museum. The Museum Lab will also feature a related Discovery Day on each of these dates, so drop-in for fun family activities and a chance to get up close and personal to objects not usually on display.
(Don’t forget: Brighton & Hove residents enjoy free entry to Brighton Museum and half-price admission to the Royal Pavilion and Preston Manor at all times, with children going free, with proof of local residency.)
Free for the Festival
Saturday 6 May 10am-5pm Free admission for all, drop-in. All ages
Celebrate the start of Brighton Festival as the museum comes alive with pop up performances by Pitch Perfect, the best of Brighton & Hove young musical talent; poetry readings in the new Constable and Brighton exhibition; and beautiful magic lantern shows with stories in Museum Lab.

Happy Sussex Day

A Rainbow Museum
Sunday 6 August 10am-5pm Free admission for all, drop-in. All ages
As part of Brighton’s Pride weekend, explore some of the hidden stories behind objects in the museum, visit the newly opened The Museum of Transology display and explore local LGBTQ history through five short films produced by Allsorts Youth Project.
