Kids at the Royal Pavilion Ice Rink
Children and families are given a warm welcome at the Royal Pavilion Ice Rink.
There are special kids facilities available including boot sizes for children aged from 3-4 years with dual blades (‘bob skates’) for younger skaters. Parents must judge whether their children can skate safely.
A limited number of ‘penguin’ skate aids are available for children under 8 years old and are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
Baby changing facilities are available on-site, and our children's menu offers a fantastic range of tempting dishes for younger visitors.
Families with pre-school children are encouraged to skate in the first session of the day (10am - 11am) during the week, when the rink is quieter and those learning to skate have more freedom on the ice.
