Christmas 2017 & New Year Bus Services in Brighton and Hove
Travelling by bus over the Christmas and New Year Holidays?
We have assembled a quick guide for available bus journeys in and around the City.
Please ensure you check first and plan your journey carefully so as not get caught out over this period.

Sunday 24 December
Sunday service on all routes, with early finish on all services from approximately 10pm (for actual last bus times see listing below). Night buses N1, N7, N25 will NOT run.
Monday 25 December
No service.
Tuesday 26 December
Boxing Day special timetable on routes 1, 1A, 2, 5, 5A, 5B, 6, 7, 12, 12A, 13, 14, 14A, 18, 22B, 25, 26, 27, 28, 48, 49, 50, 77, 78 and 79. Night buses N1, N5, N7, N12, N14, N25 will NOT run.
Wednesday 27 December
Saturday service. Except routes 77, 78, 79 and N29 will not operate and buses on route 5A will stop at Hove Polyclinic today. Route N7/7 will start at 4.50am from Hove or 5.20am from Brighton Marina and route 25 will start at 4.53am from Sussex University or 5.38am from Portslade. Please note that the usual weekday time restrictions for national concessionary pass holders still apply (either 9am or 9.30am depending on where you reside).
Thursday 28 December and Friday 29 December
Saturday service on all routes. Except routes 77, 78, 79 and N29 will not operate and buses on route 5A will stop at Hove Polyclinic today. Please note that the usual weekday time restrictions for national concessionary pass holders still apply (either 9am or 9.30am depending on where you reside).
Saturday 30 December
Saturday service on all routes. All Night buses will operate as normal.
Sunday 31 December
Sunday service on all routes. Night buses will operate a Saturday service on routes N1, N5, N7, N12, N14, N25, N29.
Monday 1 January
Sunday service on all routes.
