AT A TIME when youth unemployment in Brighton is at worrying levels, City College Brighton and Hove is offering WorkShop, a free course for young people who want to find a job, apprenticeship or further training. The course covers job searching, employment skills, interview preparation, confidence-building and personal presentation, and also includes a work placement.
The course has been extremely helpfulâ, said recent WorkShop student Sam Sayers.
"I've got my CV up-to-date and learnt some really helpful interview tips. As well as getting good advice on job-hunting, the course has boosted my confidence and everyone on the course got on really well. I would definitely recommend this course to a friend."
There are currently places available on a WorkShop starting on March 12. For more information, email Lisa Beresford at Lbe@ccb.ac.uk or text "workshop" and your name to 07738 341763.
For City College media enquiries, please call Brian Bell, Marketing Communications Officer, on 01273 667788 Ext. 488 or email bb1@ccb.ac.uk website www.ccb.ac.uk.
