Aikido
Aikido is a form of Japanese martial art that translates as 'the way of the harmonious spirit’, it teaches discipline and self-defence, all whilst helping you get fit! Classes run at the Brighthelm Centre, for men and women of all abilities, 6.30 pm - 8.00 pm every Monday. Click HERE to find out more.
Clubbercise
Clubercise is an exciting new class that’s set to revolutionise the way you view your weekly workouts. The next big thing in dance fitness, get your glowsticks at the ready for a night of fun exercises to your favourite club tunes! Join Rich every Tuesday at the Brighthelm Centre 6.45pm-7.40pm

In Shape For Life
In shape for Llife, a fitness class for all ages and abilities, takes place every Wednesday 12- 1pm. With circuit exercises and great advice on healthy eating,work at your own pace at this friendly weekly group! Click HERE to find out more
Healthy Eating
If you’re wanting to eat more healthily in 2016 we also have regular Weightwatchers and Slimming World Classes at the centre. Weightwatchers meet every Tuesday at 12.30 pm and Slimming World runs on Saturday mornings at 10:30 am.
Delicious fresh fruit juices are also now available at the Helm Café, a great way to get one of your five a day!
Keeping Active
If you’re just looking for a new way to get active, we’re also looking for new volunteers in our café and preschool, a great way to stay social and give back to your community! Click HERE to find out more.
