2017 Christmas Craft Markets and Gift Fairs in Brighton
Christmas fairs have been around in mainland Europe for decades but they are still relatively new in the UK.
Unsurprisingly, they have rapidly gained in popularity over the last few years as they offer a really different shopping experience. Shoppers love being able to browse stalls offering unusual gifts and sampling goodies from the food stalls. There's often Christmas music to get you in the mood too.
The Christmas markets have fitted in well alongside the thriving craft fair scene in the city – many of these run monthly but are even more popular in the run up to Christmas.

Big 2 Day Xmas Craft & Gift Fair @ Brighton Racecourse - 2nd and 3rd December
Come to Brighton Racecourse to attend a fully stocked craft and gift fair, showcasing wares of some of Sussex's best and most creative craft people. Special activities are provided for children as well, for example face painting or having a story time with Santa. You can have a short rest and snack at the tasty treat stalls. Support local artists and charities while spending lovely time at the fair.

Christmas Street Food and Makers Market @ Brighthelm Centre on Saturday 9th December
Paper Daisy Events will provide a wide range of over 40 of our best independent street food and handmade traders from around Sussex.

Brighton Christmas Market @ Jubilee Square -17th November until 23rd December
This Christmas Market provides exciting and creative stalls where you can not only buy for example warm and traditional winter clothes but also handcrafted jewellery amongst other quality merchandise. You can choose from a great selection of food and drink, including traditional homemade confectionery. Children have the opportunity to post letters to Santa and to visit Santa's grotto.

MADE BRIGHTON at St Bartholomew’s - Saturday 25th November
During this even the main body of the Church will be used to show sixty makers, exhibiting a wide range of original work.

The Fairy Tale Fair @ The Open Market - 26th November 2017
Come to the Open Market to spend time amongst 45 high quality stalls, featuring local designers and makers. This community event will give you the opportunity to purchase a wide variety of handmade goods. You have the chance to relax at stalls serving homemade treats, whilst watching live performances and much more.
