From Tuesday 29 August to Sunday 10 September, Hove’s The Old Market will be transformed into a digital forest by the cutting-edge creative studio, Marshmallow Laser Feast, as part of its new immersive exhibition, Habitats.
This interactive experience where nature and technology collide will contain three sections, Forest, In The Eyes Of The Animal and Treehugger: Wawona, which was recently awarded the Tribeca Film Festival’s Storyscapes Award 2017.
Marshmallow Laser Feast will return to The Old Market after a sell out run of In The Eyes Of The Animal in 2016.
James Turnbull, The Old Market development manager said: ‘’Habitats will be, hands down, the most exciting exhibition to grace The Old Market. Sure to be a stimulating and educational experience for all, we can’t wait for the public to encounter this stroke of Marshmallow Laser Feast genius.’’
Marshmallow Laser Feast added: “Last year we brought our production In The Eyes Of The Animal to The Old Market as part of the annual Brighton Digital Festival and were overwhelmed by the amazing feedback we received. Brighton is such a unique mix of technologically and creatively minded people, so it’s an ideal place for us to showcase our work. We are delighted to be returning to The Old Market in 2017 for the world premiere of our latest production, Habitats.”
