Looking for something to do with the kids in Brighton this May Bank Holiday?

With the Brighton festival, Brighton Artists Open Houses and special one off events over the bank holiday weekend there is something for everyone.

One of the special events in the city is The Fairy Tale Fair which is back at Brighton Open Market, London Road, on Sunday 24th May.

The craft and vintage fair will take over the market with over 45 stalls featuring crafts, art, jewellery, pocket money buys, homewares, clothing, vintage items, cakes and sweet treats, and much more. All of the stalls are run by independant businesses selling their handmade or hand designed creations. Many of the stall holders are also local creatives.

The items make great unique gifts, Brighton souveniers, keepsakes, and more. Plus there will also be face painting all day and a free taster class and performance by Brighton Lindyhoppers at 1pm. You can also explore the markets permanent shops, cafes and studios while you are there.

The Fairy Tale Fair will be open 11am - 4pm, and entry is free. Buses stop directly outside at London Road or The Level. Parking is £1 an hour/ £3 for 4 hours at The Level behind the market too. You've no need to worry about the weather as despite the name the market is fully undercover.

Why not explore Brighton's famous laines and seafront while you are visiting - both just a short walk away from Brighton Open Market.
