Angel food bakery, in the heart of the Lanes, is home to a vast selection of delicious cupcakes, cakes and other sweet treats, all baked on the premises. Look for different cupcakes every day - it’s horribly easy to get hooked! They only use the very best ingredients including unsalted English butter, Belgian chocolate, fresh fruit and free range eggs. Plus cupcake baking accessories if you fancy having a go yourself.

Drop in to Treacle, opposite the big Tesco in Hove, for a cup of loose leaf tea, delicious Monmouth coffee, hand made ice cream and some of the best cake in town. Treacle is a huge hit with Hove residents with a daily selection of moist, flavoursome cakes that have been described as the “absolute best cake EVER”. Now that’s what we call a good review!
