Hello there, my name is George and I am a Brighton-based guitarist.
Although originally trained as a Classical guitarist, I quickly developed an interest in contemporary music and started playing Rock and Pop music as well. This led me to become interested in the other side of the glass and I started producing as well as writing music. Over the years, I've been building my own studio, dubbed 'The Lab', which I use for session work, producing, songwriting and sound design.
After graduating from Sam Newsom Music Centre in 2011, I enrolled on a BA Hons course, specialising in guitar, at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) and graduated in 2014. This helped me expand my horizons, leading me to play more Soul, RnB and Hip-Hop sessions as well as Rock and Pop music.
In my career, I've worked with current and past members of bands and acts such as The Prodigy, Sugababes, Elbow, So Solid Crew, Moby, Average White Band, Sleeper and the Dead Keys.
I've also worked with some of the greatest business minds in the music industry, including: Bob James (Music House, Asylum Group, M-A-C Services), Phil Nelson (The Levellers, Aqualung, Duke Special) and Darren Sadler (Undergroove Records, Kerrang!, Ghost of A Thousand)
I am always working to develop and expand my skills through as many means possible, including working with other musicians and teaching.
I am available for both live and studio based work.
