We stayed for 2 nights. Room spotless with lovely decor . Great shower and bed so comfy. Staff couldn’t do enough for us. Housekeeping very discreet yet friendly. Everyone at reception welcoming and very professional.Starbucks in hotel great for a morning coffee.

Allocated room on arrival and found it was not made up. Back to reception and immediately given an upgrade to a club room with the choice of a view or quiet. Chose latter and found a very nice room at back of hotel. Complex route to get there.
Large comfy bed but room very cold. Put heating on then went out, still cold on return at 11pm so increased setting and woke up at 3am with room like a sauna.
Bosch coffee/tea maker available but coffee capsules not that nice and limited milk supply (probably could have asked for more)
Nice big shower but low pressure so it felt like being in the drizzle that we arrived in.
Used Starbucks for breakfast, prices higher than city centre venues but usual standard.
Hotel reasonably close and convenient to Bury town centre, short bus ride away however no clean shortcut paths to bus stop or even signage.
Centre good for market, museums and East Lancs Railway and dozens of pubs.

Could have but did not use the gym or swimming pool due to lack of time availability.

I was bought a spa break by my partner for my birthday, when we arrived we found there to be some problems with our booking the customer service we experienced in sorting this problem out was outstanding! The problem was sorted very quickly and efficiently, the whole team of reception staff, restaurant staff and spa staff worked to make our stay lovely and so that we didn't have to worry about anything. We stayed Saturday 21st April so the staff team that where on that weekend deserve a very big thank you from management as they have absolutely done the hotel proud!! Room and facilities where lovely, we shall be back again!

We stayed for 1 night the room was clean but needs redecorating holes in wall. Streaks of some sort of fluid on the wall. Spa area not great dirty, shower doors not staying closed. Breakfast was ok not loads of choice.

8 of us had a fun time by staying over for the Dancing through the Decades party night. Food acceptable for the type of night's entertainment although make sure all people can go (once paid) as you cannot get your money back or have it towards drinks. Drinks were pricey. However, overall a good time was had by all. One of us used the pool which was a lovely size and the changing rooms were clean and modern. The rooms were clean and had all the usual facilities. The staff in the reception and leisure facilities were friendly too.

I go to this Hotel as it has everything required.
Swimming Pool etc, Great breakfasts, quick check in, very nice staff.
Good rooms etc.
The hotel is 1 mile from Bury and you can get a Taxi for £3 to take you to The Rock Shopping Centre with all the eateries etc, The Bury outdoor market beside it,The Metro and Bus station o go into central Manchester...the list goes on.(Great carvery next door at Waterfold Farm). Its hard to be critical of the Village..really.

Hotel represented great value for money. I paid £85 for 2 nights (Saturday included) on the same weekend as the Manchester marathon! We ate in the restaurant on 4 occasions, each time we had no issues and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We used the gym here too, excellent facility and just the right size, enough equipment available for those that need it.

Reception is more of a floating counter when you walk in, which is supposed to improve the customer experience but I think I prefer the typical counter at other hotels.

We were woken by our neighbours in the night on their return from a night out in town, which is a shame because we enjoyed the most part of our stay.

Food options limited but good. Staff accommodating & put balloons provided by us on our table & looked after cake & brought it out at the right time. Spa 25 mins felt should have been longer - I wasn't offer but asked about upgrading to an hour (for an additional £20 which was high, as an offer was on for £26 for a full hour at the time!) Pool is a good size, sun beds, jacuzzi & bubble pools, steam & sauna all very good. Room facilities - have everything you need including iron / hairdryer etc. Good location just off M66 (Bury), 2 junctions away from M60, so easy access for United/City matches. There were two coachs of Irish ManU fans staying whilst we were there. No issues or problems with them or facilities. Not lap of luxury hence not 5* but very good for its type!

Stayed here many times and always been great, location right next to M66 is convenient. Only downside was music being played late in to the night, but that's maybe me getting to old! Had a slight charging problem which was quickly resolved without any hassle, so full marks for that;<) Would stay again when convenient for me.

Great location for North Manchester mid week but watch out; from the promotional literature it is a different place at weekends.

This is a great place to stay during the week if you are visiting North Manchester.
The rooms are clean and well equipped and the staff friendly and helpful.
The promotional material suggest it is a very different place at weekends!

The old style reception area was more inviting and personal, although the staff were helpful and friendly you felt with the old style that you were being welcomed with the layout
The old style bedrooms were cozy and relaxing, now they are very premier inn style which lack
clothing space and feel cheap

I had a lovely evening at the 90's tribute night, but evening was slightly tainted by mouldy cheesecake. Rooms and facilities great. I cannot complain about the rest of my stay or food just wish this could have been avoided.

We all had an amazing night 90’s night. Other people attending was brilliant. The day staff and spa staff perfect. We will be back for the next night. The drinks could be expensive but probably expected price for people that go out regularly.

Good location for access toBury and motorways. Extremely friendly and helpful reception, bar and restaurant staff. Just let down but general shabbiness and cleanliness of the rooms. Which was a shame as this could be easily rectified

Was a pleasant stay, the staff were so lovely. Room was nice although the bed wasn't overly comfy. Food was lovely in the grill restaurant but was frustrating waiting an hour for our food. My husband had to send his back once but the waitress couldn't have been nicer about it if she tried. She gave us our pudding as an apology which was nice. When his food came back the second time it was spot on. Staff were so lovely. Didn't have time to try out the swimming pool but it looked great.

We visited the hotel for a carvery for the first time and felt it was quite nice overall. We were given 50% off our bill as there was less choice than usual which was appreciated. There’s lots of choice for starters/sides, the carvery food and desserts. If you have kids, they eat free so it’s worth it.
