so close to 5/5. Certain staff (inc management) let you down
When at the bar, we don't like standing waiting while management "fanny about" - just serve me and my colleagues the drinks please. Soft drink for drivers far too expensive.
Restaurant staff to get a personality, learn how to read people, realise people need drink/water when eating; be there at the end so I can pay.

Staff behind her very friendly
Reception staff very friendly and funny

When water out of bath/shower brown, and you know about, please put a note through the door saying nothing to worry about, rather than radio silence

Very good staff, rooms a bit dated but overall a good place to stay with easy access to the motorway network, Bury town centre and Manchester. Definitely worth using as a base for exploring the attractions that are nearby..

Stayed over for my partners birthday. Very modern and stylish. Very clean. The lady on reception was so helpful and let me check in a few hours early to decorate the room as a surprise for my partner. Greeted with a smile every time we entered or left the building. They had upgraded our room for my partners birthday and left a birthday card in the room which was a really nice touch. Beds are huge. Sky TV in the room. Warm and cosy and also airy at the same time which was perfect. Would definitely stay again and recommend to everyone.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly, easy to check in and check out, all hotel facilities, bedrooms and bathroom were all clean, however in the bathroom there was a lot of mould all over the ceiling, walls and door frame, this is due to the fact there was no extractor fan. My parter is asthmatic and during our stay his asthma was badly affected and even since we have returned home he is now having on going problems with this. This is a serious issue which needs to be rectified as soon as possible in order to prevent the same thing happening to more guests, due to this we would not return to the hotel as this completely ruined our stay.

We stay at this hotel at least once a month and it's fantastic value for money rooms are always clean and the beds are so comfortable. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Food is also very good, and the leisure facilities are perfect. Looking forward to our next stay already.

80s party night staying over for a girls birthday treat away. We had a ball from beginning to end Nothing was too much trouble for staff to accommodate us. Very clean hotel and very professional. We enjoyed our party night and meals were hot and tasty. Took time out to use the leisure centre pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. Very clean, professional staff great facilities.
Buffet breakfast in the morning to end our stay. Thanks for a great time.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times now and it never fails to impress me. The rooms are pretty big, the building is stunning and all the staff bend over backwards to help you. Genuinely my favourite hotel in Britain.

Fabulous Hotel, situated right off the motorway junction 18 ... we were on a works night out so enjoyed the bar..
Booking easy enough, although the hotel confused the booking for room with dinner... was supposed to be a room with breakfast, after a lot of confusion i got my breakfast... charged for it & had to be refunded... then a couple of days later i found that the hotel charged my account again for breakfast... I was again refunded after i rang the booking line & expressed my disappointment over the fiasco..
Room was ok.. Shower awful.. (trickle)
Breakfast was good but the coffee was very weak, (couldn't make a stronger coffee)
On the whole.. my stay was ok...I would return..

10 minutes from bury centre. Large pub 2 min walk away selling great food n drink if you don’t want to stay in the village hotel. Village hotel is great value for money, lay out same as all the others. Good size pool with sun loungers, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Good size restaurant and bar. Just off the motorway so excellent for stop offs. I have been to some event nights here too, excellent value for money. Will stay again.

Louise was fantastic with us & made sure everything we wanted was done, she had lots of ideas for us. The DJ was great & played everything we wanted. The staff set up all my decorations & made the room look lovely. Everyone had a great night & I would definitely recommend the village to those wanting a nice hotel to stay in and those wanting to host a party there.

Stayed here on 3rd November 2017 as my niece was having her 40th birthday party here. The staff from the moment we went to check in were brilliant and very helpfull .. The room was FAB nothing to fault .. BUT what let this whole experience down for us was the bar prices .. This hotel is in Bury NORTH WEST ENGLAND .. NOT London .. If you are planning on staying here then be prepared to pay £5.00 for a pint of cider, and £20.00 plus for a bottle of supermarket standard house wine ..!

We have stayed at this Village Hotel several times over a number of years when visiting family in the UK. I love the new decor and check-in. My only disappointment was the bed I had as it felt like sleeping on a camber and I didn’t sleep well. There appeared to be a mattress pad of some kind under the sheet and in hindsight I am wondering if it was too larger for a single bed and had been folded leaving it raised in the middle?

Good convenient location. Food in the bar was good, with a good selection of burgers.
Good WIFI, TV and very comfortable bed. However, the room could definitely do with a good clean.

Lovely place to stay. Excellent leisure facilities. Food is amazing. Reception staff are very helpful. Only thing that would score better for me is the rooms are quite dark and the windows allow a lot of noise if you have a room above the outside terrace at the front. Would definitely stay again.
