Nice staff, nice food, great beds (club room) .. As the title says not enough sockets in the room, partner had to charge her phone at the rooms desk for an hour. My socket would also have been in a awkward place if I had not brought my 3m wire ha! .. So to round up, great room, great bathroom (no bath), plenty of services available. But, windows need to actually shut. Not have a gap which all the wonderful noises of the night can get through.. And 1 bed side plug isn't good enough in 2017, especially when its closer to my feet than my head.

Solid 8/10, faults were there, but easily overlooked.

Overall a nice stay with good breakfast. A good base if you wanted to travel into Manchester. Pub and leisure facilities are excellent. Would recommend the Village at Bury but not so much to see in the area.

Lovely club room. Cleanliness standards were excellent both in the room and throughout the hotel. Great upgrade to a club room which was gorgeous and modern. Good service in the bar and prices fairly reasonable.

Great location and friendly staff. Evening meal was good but the breakfasts weren't great. Will definitely stay here again but won't be having the breakfast, we have stayed here a few times and the breakfast has never been great.

Have stayed here before but it is much improved from our last visit. Bedrooms and bathrooms have been refurbished and are very comfortable. Lovely beds and great new showers. Health club was also very nice and breakfast ok. Would stay again

Always a great hotel chain and only a short bus ride to Bury, and tram ride to Manchester.
Room was great and very comfortable... my only gripe would be that there was no mirror in the room so I could style my hair but I was soon brought one when I asked for one. Would definitely come back!

Clean and tidy, very friendly and helpful staff, swimming pool, steam rooms, massage, nice restaurant and food and very large bar.

Ample car parking with security cameras. £3.00 taxi ride into Bury Town Centre. Who could ask for more?

I would highly recommend this place although be careful because the price of the rooms do fluctuate depending on availability.

We stayed 2 nights. The first on a Sunday when the couple in the next room seemed to have verbal diarrhoea, talking loudly until after 4 a.m., which wasn't helped by the sound insulation being less than ideal, however....................we were offered a change of room, but declined when told the offending couple had checked out.
Night 2 was lovely, quiet and very relaxing.
The staff were friendly and very helpful, particular thanks to Sarah who handled our complaint about the noise in a brilliant manner.
The bar gets a bit lively, but there are plenty of seats in the reception area where you can take a drink, and prices are verty reasonable for a hotel.

Been to this chain of hotels before so knew what to expect. We paid £70 for b&b so excellent value. We liked that it’s just of the M60 but not noisy. Friendly staff at reception and in the Village Pub. Happy hour as well and £2.50 a pint or for house wine which I had the Rose and was fine. We ate here and thought the burger stacks were very tasty. Room was dark but spacious as small window but perfectly clean and a great bed. The breakfast was a bit of a let down as quite limited choice of hot food. Didn’t like the yoghurt and granola in small pots very cutting corners here. However it was adequate for our stopover. Also 5 mins by car to the Rock shopping centre in Bury. Hotel busy with people having meetings etc and using the gym.

What a venue. I had my 40th birthday there last year and they couldn't do enough to help out. The rooms were lovely and we took advantage of the residents bar. I have also used on many other occasions and I love it.

Good value room and very little to complain about. All was good. the location was excellent for us. I would recommend this hotel if you need to visit the area. the service was great at the bar. We did use the resurant or bar for food but what we seen looked good.

It might have had a lick of paint and a play with the layout since i was last at The Village but i found the room on the first floor noisy, from traffic noise, the bar below and doors banging constantly through the night.
Check in/out was smooth and efficient. Bar area was good, decent bar meals although breakfast was a little disappointing in quality. All the staff i encountered were pleasant and friendly.

Excellent for my business trip. Facilities and Service didn't disappoint with all staff I spoke with being courteous. Rooms presented extremely well. I arrived late and was greeted quickly and efficiently, breakfast the following day was spot on.

Stayed over last weekend. Room was great as it always is. Check in is abit character less now , no interaction with a human which I suppose some people might like but I would prefer to be greeted by a staff member not an iPad.
Food in the restaurant was sub par the soup I had for starter was very nice however the burger was dry and inedible and was returned. Left the restaurant hungry. Waiting staff were great and offered to swap but given the fact I would have had to eat my main alone as my partner had finished I just left it. £15 for a burger of that standard is abit of a disgrace to be honest.
