Very nice stay good food and great facilities a few issues with the room a broken window lock and a door in the corridor that opened on to a wood door that kept me awake but overall a good stay. We would return

I have been to a couple of work events here and have always really enjoyed the night meal and a good dance. Friends have stayed over and have highly praised the room and the facilities so with this in mind I decided to join as a member.

Been going here for the last 3 weeks swimming and enjoying the gym not had chance to fully get involved in all that it has to offer. The staff are really friendly and the place is always clean and tide looking forward to starting some of the classes and relaxing in the steam room and sauna.

I would recommend not only for guests but anyone who enjoys swimming and the gym.

Bathroom and bedroom looked lovely but not as clean as they should be. A bit on the small side and very little hanging space. Nice touch with the Dyson fan though. I was glad I got a sale deal and would have been very upset if I paid full price. Not worth the full prices they state.

Excellent from start to finish. All staff were polite and courteous. Rooms were very comfortable. Pool was excellent. We were luck enough to book when there was January sale so got very good rate. However would return again out with sale period.

The new check in system is very impersonal
The new room design is not good for business travel as there is barely enough room on the desk for a laptop and a folder.
The new lighting systems in the room make it dark.

We enjoyed a five day break at this hotel at the end of January. We thoroughly enjoyed an early morning swim before breakfast which was plentiful for us.
We did not use the bar but it always seemed to be busy. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We will certainly use this hotel again.
P.S. Try to visit Bury market !!!

Well appointed hotel.
If you require a good nights sleep, ensure you don't get a room with a door to the next room which ruins the soundproofing. It sounded like the noisy guests next door were in my room.

We booked 4 rooms for a family occasion. All rooms were great, the breakfast great value for money and the staff were welcoming. The pool was on the cooler side but the hairdryers and straighteners in the changing rooms were a nice touch. Will definitely re-visit!

Only managed the one night but will be going back and hopefully can sample the leisure vacilities , the swimming pool looks superb and was being well used. The hotel is just off the M66/M62 but far enough that you can see it but not hear it, Starbucks shop, pub and resturaunt inside tried them all, looking forward to next visit.

Had a great stay, meal was beautiful, the room was a bit dated and dark due to lack of adequate lighting, fantastic breakfast, would stay again the only fault was a mix up with the invoice on departure stating we had drinks in the restaurant when we hadn't ( we took drinks in from the bar area) but after a quick phone call looks like has been sorted

I couldn't believe how dirty the floor was in the restaurant. I've since read similar reviews about dirty floors so I would really suggest you take note. I tried not to think about what the kitchen might be like. Plastic menus are not desirable but if you are going to use them, then give them the odd wipe. The whole dining experience was a bit of a joke tbh.
Standing room only for business people, who wanted somewhere to sit, meet and work in the morning. Might be worth taking the opportunity to get more seats and encourage them to stay.
Bedroom was nice and clean! While I am all for atmospheric lighting though, it would be good to have the option of fuller lights too as there were times when I actually needed to see what I was doing. Using the torch on my phone seemed a bit extreme, but necessary!
Some communal areas really did look tired, if there is anyone selling paint in Bury I'd suggest you hot foot down there, plenty of touching up to do.
The pool was lovely and the steam room fabulous. But the high price point meant that I had higher expectations and was therefore really disappointed.

The hotel offers an upgrade for an extra £20 you can have a Club room. I booked one of each, standard and club, and the rooms were identical in every respect except that the club room had a coffee maker. Access to the pool and gym is free to guest no matter what room type you have. The decor is very dark giving the hotel a feeling of dinginess. We found it difficult to work in the rooms due to the low light levels. Bring ear plugs as there is a lot of road noise
